Soon after starting up the game today, Tom messaged me and told me he was opening his gate. I haven’t visited his town in a long time, so I decided to drop by Tomville. His friends Lily and Pichi were also there. We helped him water his flowers.
Tom’s house looks a bit haunted. Have you been hearing chains rattling in the attic, Tom?
I stopped to have a little chat with my friend Savannah the zebra.
And Tom dug some holes and glitched onto a house. He then fell off into one of the holes. I tried to kick some dirt in his face, but it wouldn’t let me.
We had a small hammer fight, but unfortunately I didn’t have my hammer with me. I usually leave it on the ground by my town tree for dream visitors. The next time I see one for sale on the island, I should buy it to have one to keep with me (attached to a letter). Anyway, Tom has a large checkerboard of patterns, alternating with my Wii U logo (available here) and a Toon Link pattern. This was the only picture I got of all four of us today.
Tom’s shop was closed, so we protested by trying to break the windows with our shovels. It may sound violent, but the Nooklings have shovel-proof glass for some reason. They must not trust us! Hmmph!
Shortly after that, we got disconnected. Poor Tom had to water his flowers all over again. I didn’t return to Tomville though, because I still needed to do my normal tasks around my own town. Big Top tried to tell me he was moving out of town on October 29th, but of course I made him stay.
I also found Saharah nearby, so I hired her and made the short walk back to my house. She put in a groovy wall and some slate flooring.
I didn’t think it was groovy at all, so I wiped the slate clean and went back to how it already was. I went to put something in storage, and then Drago barged in. These surprise visitors always seem to strike right after Saharah leaves! Saharah must call them afterwards and say “He’s home. Now’s your chance!”
I sat down until Drago left, and then I resumed my walk around town. Curlos was camping out at the campsite today. I’ve had a lot of campers lately! Unfortunately, none of them have been animals I’ve wanted to move in.
Over by the river behind the town tree, I found a lost item.
So I began asking my villagers about it. It didn’t belong to Octavian, but my 8-legged friend asked me for a dragonfly. I tracked down a red dragonfly for him, and he rewarded me with a tropical tank. Even though that might sound like a fish tank of tropical fish, it’s just a tank top.
After asking six of my villagers, I finally found the owner of the lost book: Drago. I wonder why he would need a book called “How to Train Your Dragon.” Anyway, he rewarded me with a blue letter jacket.
After that, I went up to the Dream Suite and updated my dream town. Luna told me that Kaetia from Starfall was my most recent dream visitor.
That wrapped up my day, but I have one last picture to show you. I used the Animal Crossing Plaza on Wii U to take a look at my current New Leaf villagers.
Have a good weekend, everyone!
After making my rounds, I went up to the Dream Suite to update my dream town. Luna told me that Brayden from Cruzan was my most recent dream visitor.
But now that I’m not on the night owl ordinance any more, Katrina closes up shop at 7 p.m.! That’s crazy! Fortune-telling should be a nighttime profession!
Octavian asked me to catch a koi for him, and I told him I would. But I was having lots of trouble finding one. I circled the river at least five or six times trying to catch one, and I nearly gave up. But then I ran into Octavian again, and he started talking about macaroni and cheese.
He kept going on and on until he made both of us hungry!
That conversation must’ve been a good luck charm somehow, because the very next fish I caught was a koi!
I gave it to Octavian and he thanked me by slipping me his sleek clock. I think I’d rather have some macaroni and cheese.
When I put that money into my bank account, my balance topped 25 million bells.
As I made my walk around town, Aurora asked about my Gaudi’s lizard. She asked to buy it for 300 bells, and I sealed the deal.
Out by the river, Octavian was fishing.
After I worked a shift at the Roost, I spoke with him again. He asked me for an orange, so I gave him a perfect one. He loved it, and he rewarded me with a tatami bed.
My turnip prices dropped to 191 in the afternoon, but that’s still a pretty good price. I told Meli about it, and she came over to sell her turnips.
After I ended the session, I went up to the Dream Suite. Luna told me that Nerina from Gardenia was my most recent dream visitor. I took a preliminary visit to a dream town that I plan on featuring in a
