This morning, Aurora again told me she was thinking about moving out of town. And once again, I told her no.
As you know, each town tree is planted as a sapling when the mayor first moves into town. Over time it grows, until it reaches its maximum size once you’ve played 500 days and 500 hours. Yesterday was my 500th day, so today my town tree reached its maximum size.
Here’s a look at it from a bit farther out:
If you’d like to see it in person, go to your Dream Suite and visit dream address 4300-2003-9889.
After making a nearly complete circle around town, I finally found Joan. She was selling turnips for 93 bells apiece, and I bought 3,400 of them.
After that, I put the game away for a while, but I returned to Forest later on tonight. Molly was enjoying the rainy night as much as I was.
But Drago was a bit disappointed that it was raining water instead of peach juice.
I talked to Molly again, and she asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek. I had 15 minutes to find her, Sprinkle, and Big Top. Aurora wasn’t playing, but she sure was happy to see me.
One minute into the game, I found Big Top trying to hide behind the lighthouse.
Molly was well-hidden behind a tree, and Sprinkle was peeking out from behind Kidd’s house.
I won the game pretty easily, and Molly rewarded me with a sleek chair.
After the game, I headed up to Main Street for my shopping run. Of course, I stopped in the Dream Suite to update my dream town. And while I was there, Luna told me that Lava from Red was my most recent dream visitor.
Thanks for visiting and I’ll see you all next time! 🙂
For the accessory, she just stuck a rose in her mouth (I hope she removed the thorns first). She then went down to the event plaza to speak with Gracie the fashion guru. They had a nice long chat.
It paid off, because she passed her first fashion check. Congrats!
Not far away, I found a cherry for him, and he rewarded me with an asteroid. Really? I wonder if Octavian’s and Wishy’s gifts got mixed up somehow.
I opened my gate so Wendy could do some shopping, and it took her a long time to decide on this fertilizer. She must’ve been thinking hard, because I smelled the scent of burning popcorn.
Madisyn also dropped over for a visit, but Gala wasn’t impressed by my visitors. In fact, she told me to send them home!
But I didn’t do it. Instead, we all stood near the train station and got to the point.
We had some interesting discussions about what Agent S likes to eat and what type of dances Cinderella attends. We also did a little glitching, but not much. I glitched onto the train station, and I later tried pushing Wendy up there (but failed). We also jumped off a tree stump into holes.
Around 11:15, Madisyn left and I ended the session soon after. I went up to the Dream Suite to update my dream town, and Luna told me Thomas from America recently visited. I completely forgot about visiting K.K. tonight; I think this may have been the first time I’ve missed him in New Leaf. Oh well.
I talked to Sprinkle, and she told me she’s been having trouble sleeping lately. But instead of counting sheep, she counts ants jumping over pumpkin pie.
But she said the ants would all get stuck and she’d be left with a sticky pile of bugs. Gross!
At 10:00, I opened my gate for Friday Night Forest. T Zelda, Madisyn, and Wendy came over to visit. I couldn’t resist making a joke about TZ’s outfit.
Wendy ran up to Main Street to shop, while the rest of us wished on shooting stars.
Madisyn didn’t stick around very long; she left around 10:30. I went to visit Rolf, and he told me he feels relaxed when he stares at fish.
Down on the dock, Wendy glitched onto Kapp’n’s boat. I saved the game to kill her.
That turned her into a ghost, and she was hovering pretty high up in the air when she returned.
Next, I glitched onto Kapp’n’s boat and saved the game to kill myself. I guess pumpkins don’t float.
But when I came back down to the beach, they saw me as standing on the cliff still!
I started talking about how I wish Cyrus could customize public works projects. I was imagining my tulip topiary in the above picture being orange for Halloween. Oh well. Maybe in the next game.
As we danced, I felt like someone was watching us!
But we danced for a good 15 minutes or so.
Once we were done, we talked about pattern designs and
