Visiting the Mole Brothers

Big Top told me he was planning on moving out of Forest on September 22nd. His request was promptly denied. Despite what he may tell you, there was no begging involved.

Big Top: What?! Now, how can I leave after hearing you beg me like that?Back behind Re-Tail, I saw that Resetti’s manhole was wide open.

The open manhole leading to the Reset Center.I jumped down and caught Resetti and his brother Don in a argument. I mean, a conversation. Sure, that’s it.

Don: Show some respect, would ya! I don't need ya back-talkin' under your breath! That's right, I hear it!I caught them by surprise, and they stopped their conversation once they noticed I was there.

Don: Oh! Looks like we've got company, so let's table this talk for now. They didn’t have much to say to me, and it wasn’t long before they were dropping not-so-subtle hints for me to leave.

Resetti: Don't hang around forever! Go on and get outta here!So I continued my walk around town. I spotted a new blue pansy along the pansy path.

My path lined with blue pansies.Sprinkle was fishing again today, and this time she was wondering if she’d catch more fish if she put mint ice cream on the end of her line. I’m guessing yes.

Sprinkle: I wonder if I'd catch more fish if I put a bit of mint ice cream on the end of my line. Who knows?I visited with Kidd, and he asked me what “SF” meant as it pertains to movies or comics.

Kidd: Dearie, do you by any chance know the definition of SF in SF movies or SF comics?I said I wasn’t sure, and Kidd didn’t sound very sure himself.

Kidd: There are just too many words that start with S and F and could fit the meaning. It's so confusing...He even suggested it might stand for Super Famicom! For those who don’t know, Super Famicom is the Japanese name for Super Nintendo (SNES).

Kidd: For example... Super Famicom!Wendy came over to shop, and I had to step away from the game for a couple minutes. I said “BRB,” and when I returned, I found myself in my gravestone! Wendy killed me!

Jeff: LOL U killed me!If anyone here is a fan of the PS3 game Journey, be sure to check out the QR Codes page. Tom (not the Tom on my roster) has submitted a pattern of the protagonist’s cloak from that game. Thanks for sending your design in, Tom!

One last note: Kamal from Victoria was my most recent dream visitor. Thanks for stopping by!

Preparing for Fall

I noticed that the grass color seems to have changed today. Fall is upon us.

The new grass color.Sprinkle was fishing in the river, and she told me she just let a big one slip through her hands.

Sprinkle: I let a big one slip through my hands just a little while ago!Kidd could tell that I had a gold nugget in my pocket, and he offered to trade me a trash bin for it! How is that remotely fair? Still, I made the trade.

Kidd: Do you think I could have yours? Not for free! I'd give you my trash bin for it.Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Lynne from Rosa was my most recent dream visitor.

Wendy had Gracie in her town once again, this time looking for basic clothing. So I dropped off an A shirt, slippers, and blue-stripe pants for her.

Wendy wearing basic clothes. She took off the witch’s hat, ditched the sunglasses, and stuck a rose in her mouth. She then went down to Gracie and she passed the fashion check! Two down, two to go.

Jeff, Gracie, and Wendy at the event plaza. She ended the session and I opened my gate for a while so that Wendy could do some shopping. It was raining again in my town, as it was off-and-on all day. It’s like I’m having my own private mini-rainy season! After she was done shopping, we spun our umbrellas on Main Street.

Spinning our umbrellas. After I ended the session, I went into Able Sisters to get my tombstone pattern out of storage. I put it up on my face-cutout standee.

My tombstone faceboard.I will also be changing my brick path to orange and black in the near future.

Big Top’s Cherry

Last night, Wendy came over to shop. She bought the witch’s hat in GracieGrace for her witch costume. I also let her take a look at my big town tree.

Wendy: ermergerdThe heavy rain from yesterday continued falling again today. I’m loving it, even if Aurora doesn’t feel the same.

Aurora: This rain does NOT want to stop! Oh well. We'll just have to make the best of it, iceberg. When I spoke to Octavian, he told me Big Top visited his house and left something behind. Was it a brown pile about knee-deep?

Octavian: When Big Top came to my place to hang out the other day, it looks like something got left behind. He wanted me to return it to Big Top! But when he handed the package to me, it was light and smelled nice, so it couldn’t have been what I feared.

But before I found Big Top, I found someone else in a tent: Crazy Redd. Of his four works of art for sale, the valiant statue was the only one I needed. Unfortunately, I think it’s a fake, but I took the chance anyway.

Redd: Uh-oh... You're interested in that valiant statue too?I found Big Top and gave him the package; it contained a cherry. But Big Top thought he had lost his cherry a long time ago!

Big Top: It's my cherry! But actually, I thought this was long gone, so I already bought a new one.He had already replaced it, so he didn’t need this one. So he sold it to me for 1,557 bells. Kind of steep, but I tend to be generous with my villagers (at least the ones I like).

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me Ana M. from Floralia was my most recent dream visitor.

The villain of Animal Crossing, Katie the evil kitten, was in Forest and she demanded to go to another town. I knew I’d be stuck with her for a week if I didn’t help her, so I dumped her off at Wendy’s town.

Katie: But you being all nice like this made me feel really good! You're the best!
And you’re the worst!

Wendy also came back to Forest to shop. I tried to get her to buy Yuka, but she didn’t take the bait.

Jeff: Buy Yuka.By the way, Becky has submitted some new designs (three tops and two dresses) to the QR Codes page, so give them a look if you’re interested.
