Mundane Monday

There was a message posted on the bulletin board today saying that the autumn moon (harvest moon) would be tomorrow.

~ Tomorrow's Weather ~ The autumn moon should appear bright in the night sky, so keep your eyes up!I worked a shift at the cafe, and Bones the dog came in for coffee for the first time. He told me he wanted a mocha with “not too much” milk, so I thought that meant “a little” milk. But when I fixed it that way, it was wrong. Apparently “not too much” actually means the regular amount.

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Sarah from the town of Sarasa was my most recent dream visitor.

Luna: According to the latest feedback, a client named Sarah from Sarasa enjoyed your dream.Drago asked me to catch a cicada for him, but it was apparently too late to find one. I guess he’ll have to find something else for dinner.

Wendy came over for a brief visit to pick up some bushes I had for her. She was asking me what I would do if Eugene moved into town! I said I’d probably beat him up and pitfall him constantly. 😛 Once Wendy left, I ended my game for the night.

Sorry for the short entry today. But as any long-time Animal Crossing player knows, there are going to be days when not a lot happens. Unless you’d prefer 15 different pictures of me watering flowers? 😀 Tomorrow should be a bit more eventful, so I’ll be back with a longer entry then. Have a great day everyone!

Following Drago Home

Joan was selling turnips for 96 bells apiece this morning. I was able to purchase 3,400 of them this week.

Joan: The asking price is 96 bells per turnip. What do you think, kiddo?Drago invited me to visit his house, so I reluctantly agreed (only because he wanted me to visit right away as opposed to scheduling a time). But once we got inside, he told me to make myself at home and follow his lead if he dies! That’s probably not a wise thing for me to do…

Drago: Make yourself at home! Just follow my lead, if I die.I spoke with him while standing near his goldfish, and he nearly told me the fish was filled with food! I’d think it would make for a very small meal, though.

Drago: My goldfish! Just feast your eyes on it! It's filled with precious foo--Over by the town tree, Molly asked me to take a short quiz. After answering three questions, she determined that I only need a wristwatch to be truly happy. If only life was that simple, Molly.

Molly: According to your answers, you only need one thing to be truly happy. And that's...a wristwatch! While hunting for an ocean fish for Rolf, I found a lost mitten on the beach. I went around asking my villagers until I found out that Kidd was its owner. He rewarded me with his villager picture.

Kidd: Take my Kidd's pic with you, kidd!

Probing the Pyramid

I caught a performance from K.K. at Club LOL tonight. I asked him for a sad song and he sang Comrade K.K. for me. Thanks, comrade.

K.K.: Here's a jam that makes the blues seem like old news... Comrade K.K.Sprinkle must be wanting something from me, because she’s laying on the compliments really thick.

Sprinkle: Hip hip hooray to our awesome mayor! Yay!And Octavian gave me a space shuttle, saying I was the lucky winner!

Octavian: Ta-da-aa-hh! You're the lucky winner of my space shuttle! Congrats! But then he admitted he was planning on giving it to the next person he talked to regardless. Oh well, I’ll still take it.

Octavian: Really, I just felt like giving a present to the next person I talked to! I'm kind of crazy like that!Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me Lauren from the town of Candy was my most recent dream visitor.

Wendy wanted to buy some red hibiscus bushes from my island, so I opened my gate for her. After we returned from the island, she stopped for a little mid-air swimming.

Wendy hover-swimming.She also curiously stopped at my pyramid and asked if Ankha was inside! Even if she was inside, she’s probably a bit wrapped up with other problems. Let’s be honest, not even her mummy could save her now!

Wendy: Ankha? Are you in there?Sorry, but the princess is in another pyramid. Actually, if Ankha is really near any sand, it’s probably just in her litterbox.

While I was playing tonight, I encountered a little problem with my 3DS. I tweeted last weekend that my circle pad had a crack in it, but now that crack has split, and the edges of the rubbery circle pad are starting to come off. The edges occasionally get stuck under the circle pad itself, forcing my character to walk to the left. I think I’m going to have to clip off these loose edges.
