There was no rain today; it was a nice, clear night in Forest.
Gulliver sent me a Mouth of Truth in the mail from Italy, and it wasn’t long before one of my villagers started asking for it: Aurora wanted it right away.
She offered me a racing shirt for it. Even though that’s an awful, unfair trade for me, I went ahead and sealed the deal. I try to be nice to the villagers I like a lot…within reason, of course.
Saharah was in town, and I paid her for some new wallpaper and carpeting. She installed a shoji screen and an opulent rug in my house.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that K from Fantasia was my most recent dream visitor.
Wendy told me she had a good turnip price tonight; her Re-Tail was paying 198 bells apiece. So I headed over to Pawnee to sell all my turnips. On the way down to the shop, I saw that Wendy now has a brick bridge that makes it much easier and quicker to get to Re-Tail. Before the bridge, it took approximately 8 hours to get there from the gate. š
My first 1,600 turnips sold for a total of 316,800 bells.
I had to make another trip to my locker, and my remaining 1,200 turnips scored me another 237,600 bells. That’s a total of 554,400 bells. Very nice! Thanks, Wendy!
I also took a mini-tour of her town Pawnee and it’s really looking great. She’s spent a lot of time fixing her town up, and it really shows. I saw her outdoor garbage can and I just knew it would be perfect for something in particular…
After that, we headed back to Forest so she could shop and buy more bushes on my island. After that, I ended the session for the night. But before I shut the game off, I took my money bags up to the post office and deposited the money into my account. My bank balance topped 19 million bells.
I’ll see you all next time. Have a great weekend, everyone!
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Stephen from Gilead recently visited my dream town. And at the museum, I took my mystic statue and donated it to the art gallery. It was real, but I pretty much already knew that. The version without the flat top was the very first piece of art I ever bought in New Leaf, and I remembered that one was fake. Here is the real one in my museum:
Gulliver was down on the beach, talking about the country that’s shaped like a boot. Obviously, that would be Italy. He’ll be sending me a gift from there tomorrow.
Wendy came over to shop, wearing a cool new outfit.
She also jokingly tried to throw her axe into the fountain. Fortunately, there’s no Serena in New Leaf.
I held a small giveaway and I took ten hybrid flowers to the winner, Courtney from the town of Stoked.
Back in Forest, Molly asked me to collect signatures for a petition called “Garden Gnomes Have Rights.” Madisyn invited me to her town, so I decided to collect the signatures there. Her friend Laile was there at first, but she left right away. Then I was greeted by Batgirl.
I began hunting down her villagers. But this one was just frightening. If a rainbow ever vomited on a sheep, this is what it might look like.
Madisyn had a gift for me. It was something that Croque gave her, but she figured I’d get more use out of it than she would.
Speaking of Croque, he provided the sixth and final signature that I needed. I can’t help but wonder what the point of petitions is, when every villager supports every single cause. If everyone already supports every issue, why is a petition even needed in the first place?
We went to the Roost to get some coffee.
And Madisyn was making her pooping face???
I got a few masks out of my locker, and I think the demon cow mask freaked her out.
I also had a green pumpkin head, and I was wearing it when I ate a famous mushroom in Re-Tail.
I left after a while and returned to Forest. I gave Molly the completed petition and she rewarded me with the moon.
As a train went by in the background, Big Top asked me if he smelled good today.
He said it was because he used a kugel-scented shampoo.
Crazy Redd was in town today, so I went into his tent and purchased this mystic statue.
Kidd apparently saw a bulge in my pockets and asked if I had a dorado. Indeed I did, and he offered me 12,000 bells for it.
Drago was also nearby, and he asked me for an orange. I gave him a (smuggled) perfect orange I got from Squishy and he loved it. He said his reward for me would be equally fantastic…and he gave me a toaster. Uh, what?
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Yuki from Oakland was my most recent dream visitor.
I’ve neglected to mention this, but since the first of the month, Gracie has started selling the sweets furniture set. It looks like I also see a hat that would fit Phyllis just perfectly.
Later on tonight, Wendy came over to sell some pears. She also sat on my tree stump and I dug holes around it so she could fall into them. But at one point, I accidentally dug out my stump! Oops!
I planted a cherry in that spot to grow a new tree, and then Wendy went up to the Emporium to shop. After she was done, she told me to end the party. But before I could, we disconnected! Wendy said her game crashed (for the first time ever). I reopened my gate so she could sell and shop again. At least my stump was restored. Once she was done, I successfully ended the session.
