As soon as I started up the game, Saharah was standing right outside my house. I figured I might as well get it over with, so I hired her on the spot. She installed an ancient wall and a playroom rug. Not a good combination, but the ancient wall is a keeper.

Today was Dotty’s last day in town! 😀 I’ll try not to cry! 😉

I found a lost item near the entrance to Main Street. Kidd was the closest villager, so I asked if it was his…and it was! He thanked me for returning his precious paper bag and rewarded me by giving me a baseball shirt.

Drago asked me for a new catchphrase, and I stopped to think about it for a minute. A lot of times, I’ll use phrases related to the type of animal they are. Like Rolf would say “tiger” or Gala would say “ham.” But I wanted to do something different this time, something that could make phrases unexpected and hopefully funny. So I had him say “if I die.” Maybe it’s a bit dark, but I think it could work. So Drago started off by saying we should have more festivals if he dies.

And he said everyone would eat for free at the potato gratin shop if he died? What does that even mean?

I’ll be sure to post more pictures if this catchphrases produces any other interesting quotes in the future.

Anyway, Ryan was unable to adopt Dotty because his town was full, and no one else expressed any interest in her. So I asked on the friend code exchange page and found someone to take her. Ramone from EggVille came over to get her.

Dotty agreed to move to EggVille. I’m sure Ramone will be nicer to her than I was. Have a nice trip, Dotty.

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Victoria from Alternia was my most recent dream visitor. And in the Happy Homes Showcase, Arnold from FatVille gave me this bunny r. balloon. Thanks Arnold…but you may want to cut back on that coffee.

I got a letter from Gulliver in the mail today, and he sent me a Big Ben model from England.

As I walked along the beach, I finally found a giant-clam shell. I took it up to Cyrus in Re-Tail, and I gave him K.K. Synth as well. I had him make a clam-shell music box for me.

After the half-hour waiting period was up, I returned and picked it up.

I took it home to start listening to it, and I was instantly disappointed. It sounded nothing like what I was expecting, and it was essentially unrecognizable. I guess the music boxes work better with songs that have more melody and less atmosphere. Or something.

But as I was listening to it, Rolf rudely barged into my house! He also told me to “deal with it,” which made me want to go tiger hunting.

I sat down on my couch until the pesky tiger got the message.

A bit later on, Wendy came over to sell her pears.

Rolf asked me for a cherry, and I gave him a perfect one I still had left over from Wendy’s original town of Oakville. He enjoyed it and gave me my very own space station! Wow, how did a tiger get so rich? I wonder if he secretly works with Siegfried and Roy.

Crazy Redd was in town, and Wendy went inside to check out his items. As she came out of the tent, I sent myself on fire.

I went in to check on Rolf today, and he’s finally over the sickness. In fact, he’s doing grrrrrrrrrrreat! He thanked me for the medicine I’ve been giving him lately and he rewarded me with a chaise lounge.

When I went to see Gala, I saw that Molly was also there visiting.

Molly said that Gala keeps it warm in there. Hmmm, warm like an oven?

I completely forgot to buy turnips yesterday. I also completely forgot to mention that in yesterday’s blog entry.

After making my way around town, I headed up to Main Street. Luna told me Poppy from Bexhill was my most recent dream visitor.

And unlike Saturday night, there actually was a crowd on Main Street today. I don’t know why Tex was staring at the wall. I wonder if he’s related to Puck…or maybe it’s a penguin thing.

There was a new house on display in the Happy Homes Showcase, but it only had one room. I made my way down to the beach and I found Gulliver washed up on the shore. He was headed to London, England, and he’ll be sending me a gift from there tomorrow.
