I was going to check something out at Katrina’s tonight, but her shop was already closed. In fact, her shop closes at 7 p.m.? That’s earlier than Tom Nook! Back on GameCube, her tent wouldn’t even appear until night! Katrina doesn’t seem like a person that would have a day job. It’s kind of like Dracula running a lemonade stand at noon.
Kidd approached me and offered me a graceful painting for 7,056 bells. The price was a bit steep for something that may or may not be a forgery…but I took the chance.
My gamble paid off, because the painting was real! I quickly donated it to the museum.
A message posted on the bulletin board pointed out that the first Bug-Off of the year will be held this Saturday. More importantly though, I’ll be able to get my golden net from Nat!
And I couldn’t help but noticing how nice my bushes look now that they’re in bloom. The purple pink flowers on it look really nice. Just ignore the fact that I appear to be hailing a cab in this picture.

There was also a message posted on the bulletin board for the occasion.
Brewster wouldn’t let me work at the Roost today, but there was no event at the event plaza.
Later on, I dropped off my golden axe at Wendy’s town Pawnee. She’s laying down paths (the ones you see are just a placeholder) and she needs to cut down the trees that are in the way.
She’s also in the process of building a badly-needed bridge. On the map, it looks like Lloid is in the water. But in person, it looks like he’s about to walk the plank.
Back outside, Gala was talking about how she likes mystery TV shows.
I didn’t even consider that he might’ve been shoplifting until he kept getting defensive about how he wasn’t! I think Copper needs to frisk him.
Shortly before 8:00, Wendy came over to buy some tools for her new character.
She also got her hair done at Shampoodle, just moments before they closed for the night.
I then ended the party and went over to Club LOL. K.K. performed K.K. Marathon for me. The song seemed to drag on…for 26 miles. It’s not my favorite song.
