Butterfly Exchange

Saharah was in town today, so I paid her 3,000 bells for her services.

Saharah: Inspiration! It burns the hooves like desert sand. Embrace it!She installed a garden wall and a sci-fi floor in my main room.

A garden wall and sci-fi floor.Rolf asked me for some furniture, and I gave him a peacock butterfly. He thanked me and gave me a stroller in exchange. What do I need a stroller for??

Rolf: A stroller! Thanks again for the help! And then, Aurora asked me for a butterfly! I caught a common butterfly for her (a real common one, apparently) and she gave me a blue plaid tee, which I soon put on.

Aurora: It's a real common butterfly! Thank you! I'm very grateful.Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me June from Bacon was my most recent dream visitor.

Later on, Skye (the human) let me go to her town to sell my turnips before they expired. Her Re-Tail was paying 314 bells for them! That price was as sweet as pi!

Reese: Well then...I could probably part with 345,400 bells for all of it, if that sounds OK with you?Skye’s dog Biskit asked her for a peach, so I gave Skye a perfect peach to use. Unfortunately, it didn’t get her Biskit’s picture.

Skye talking to Biskit.I also said hello to Mira while I was there.

Mira: I'm loving this town! It's so green! Hope you like it here, cottontail!Skye ended the party soon after that. And later on (shortly before midnight), I went up to Club LOL. K.K. performed K.K. Soul for me.

K.K.: This one goes out to the enigma that is Jeff... K.K. Soul!

A Dream Suite Milestone

Kidd was out and about this evening, feeling much better now. He thanked me for the medicine the other day, and he said he’ll mail me a gift later. (My pockets were full.)

Kidd: I'm feeling great now, thanks to you, of course! As I was walking near the police station, something caught my eye. It was a silver slingshot floating by. Those are…balloons!

A silver slingshot flying by on two large silver balloons.A tent was set up at the campsite, and Whitney was inside. She also camped here last July. I went in to say hello to her again.

Whitney: Hey there, I'm Whitney. I'm just in Forest camping for a little while.Near my western bridge, Nan told me that Kidd told her she says “kid” too much! I think he was kidding.

Nan: Kidd pointed out how often I say 'kid.' It's a habit I just can't shake. But she wanted a new catchphrase, so I told her to say “scapegoat” instead.

Nan: I'm going to use it all the time. Scapegoat, scapegoat!Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that my dream town (dream address 4300-2003-9889) has surpassed 5,000 visitors! Thank you to everyone who has visited!

Luna: Records state the number of clients who have experienced a dream about Forest is 5,007.I’ll never know who the 5,000th visitor was, but Ai from Aniville was apparently visitor #5007. Thanks for visiting!

In case anyone missed it, there was no Friday Night Forest tonight. I generally don’t hold them on the first Friday of each month. But I’ll be back open next Friday. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Medicine for Kidd

Today, Frank asked me if I knew what a yellow butterfly was. Uh, I’d guess it’s a butterfly that’s yellow?

Frank: Hey, you know what a yellow butterfly is, don't you? When I spoke with Aurora, she tried to tell me she was moving out of town on June 10th. But I quickly changed her tune.

Aurora: On the 10th of this month, I'm venturing out into the world.I found a yellow butterfly and took it back to Frank. He thanked me and gave me a grape-stripe tee.

Up at the Dream Suite, I updated my dream town and checked my visitor count. I’m just short of the milestone I mentioned nearing yesterday. But I should definitely hit the target by tomorrow. But today’s most recent dream visitor was Bacon from Mordor.

Luna: According to the latest feedback, a client named Bacon from Mordor enjoyed your dream.Up at GracieGrace, I tried on these aviator shades. I thought they looked pretty good…until I noticed I could still see my huge eyes through them! Scary!

Gracie: Beore you get your hopes up, just know that this little number goes for 4,800 bells. And since I was playing early enough that the stores were still open, I also bought some medicine for Kidd. He was still sick, so he was glad to receive the medicine. Hopefully he’ll start feeling better soon.

Kidd takes his medicine.
