Last night, my Re-Tail had a premium on perfect pears. I knew Tiffiny has a bunch of perfect pear trees, so I let her know and she came over to sell all that she had. I used a famous mushroom, but I mistimed my picture. That’s okay though, because it looks like I have a hula hoop.
She earned a cool 3.5 million bells from selling her perfect pears, and she gave me a couple baskets of them too.
I later made a Dream Suite visit to Mark’s town Topiary.
It’s a really cool town with a spaceship/sci-fi room, a fancy bathroom, a 7/11, and lots of topiaries of course. For the dream address and lots more pics, see Dream Suite Adventures: Topiary.
Back in my town today, Kidd asked me for a cherry. I gave him a perfect cherry I got from Wendy, and he loved it. He rewarded me with…a jackhammer?
The weird part is that Nan just gave me a steamroller yesterday. Are the goats in my town starting a construction company or something?
Over at my campsite, the penguin named Cube was camping out. He’s pretty cool.
And Gala showed off her greeting that I gave her recently. It’s one I also used for Curly in ACCF once: “I’m made of ham.”
And at my southwest park, my rarely-used yellow bench actually had someone sitting on it: Skye! So I sat down next to her.
Maybe my tulip topiary will make this part of town more popular.
♪ My topiary brings all the wolves to the park.
And they’re like…don’t make me bark. ♪
Speaking of my tulip topiary, I started putting some actual tulips around it.
The warm painting I bought from Crazy Redd turned out to be the real deal, although it looks much bigger in the museum than it did in Redd’s tent!
I updated my dream town at the Dream Suite, and Luna told me David from Hometown was my most recent dream visitor.
At 6:00, I dropped off the sci-fi set to the giveaway winner, Kyle from Tennakia. Congrats once again, Kyle. I hope you enjoy the set!
After returning home, Skye told me recently saw a picture of a beautiful frog.
I assume it wasn’t Jambette.
I caught a frog for Skye and she thanked me by giving me a jungle-camo shirt.
Later, Molly tried to tell me she was moving out on May 11th. I quickly denied her request. I don’t plan on ever letting Molly, Rolf, Agent S, or Aurora move out of town.
In the northeast part of town, I caught a picture of the train starting to cross the bridge.
Copper was telling me Phineas was in town. But Copper is a lying dog. I searched my town about seven times and looked everywhere. Phineas was absolutely not in town. But Katie was. In fact, when I called for Phineas on the megaphone, Katie often answered. Katie’s presence was preventing Phineas from appearing.
So I made a deal with Hayden from Bingham. If she let me dump off Katie at her town, I’d let her sell her turnips at my town (at a price of 260 bells apiece). She agreed to the deal, and I took Katie to Bingham.
I then opened my gate, and Hayden came over to sell her turnips.
Getting rid of Katie did the trick. After Hayden left, Phineas answered to his name over the megaphone and I quickly tracked him down. He gave me the Prof. of Entomology badge for catching every type of insect.
As for all those times Copper told me Phineas was in town when he wasn’t? Well, Copper’s going to need to pass a vision test if he wants to keep his badge.
Crazy Redd had his tent set up at the event plaza today. I already had three of his four items, so I took a chance on this warm painting. And yes, I know there are painting guides out there, but I choose not to use them. I try to play as legit as possible. I do use my
Back outside, Big Top asked me to make a delivery to Nan. So I tracked her down and gave her the item. She rewarded me with something I wasn’t expecting from a nice old goat: a steamroller!
No living room is complete without a steamroller! Er, maybe. But when Kidd asked me to find him some new furniture, I knew exactly what to give him!
He thanked me for the stylish steamroller and gave me a blue bookcase.
After the rain stopped, I went up to the Dream Suite to update my dream town. Luna told me Logan from Hilloi was my most recent dream visitor.
I quickly took it up to Blathers at the museum and donated it.
So now the only section of the museum that isn’t complete is the art gallery. It looks like I still need eight paintings and three statues. This one’s going to take a while, I think.
And Gulliver was down on the beach. By his hints, I knew he was headed to Portugal.
I found a lost item near my waterfall, so I started taking it to my villagers to ask them about it.
I went into Aurora’s house, and I was quite surprised to see Kidd in there, too! She thought Kidd and I planned it that way.
But the lost item didn’t belong to either of them. I later found out it was Rolf’s book. He thanked me for returning it and he gave me a spade tee. I didn’t have the heart to tell him I was never going to wear it.
Agent S asked me to catch a butterfly for her, but I didn’t see any flying around. (It was already pretty late by the time I started playing). So I went out to the island and caught an emperor butterfly for her. She loved it and rewarded me with an exotic table.
At the Dream Suite, Luna told me Brenda from Santa C. was my most recent dream visitor. The stores on Main Street were closed, so I didn’t get to shop at all today.
