The King’s Execution

The snowboy from yesterday sent me this snowman sofa in the mail today.

My new snowman sofa.I also got my dynamic painting in the mail from Crazy Redd, but it turned out to be a fake. I saw Agent S’s plot; she’s going to be moving in behind the police station. That’s actually a pretty good location, because it doesn’t mess up my paths. I’ve been lucky in that respect so far. I know a lot of people have had trouble with animals landing on their paths.

This spot reserved for Agent S's new home. -Nook's HomesSaharah was in town today, and I paid her to install this tent wall and neutral floor in my house.

A tent wall and neutral floor.I quickly changed them back to how they were. Tom visited my town to grab a bingo number, and he did some glitching while he was here. I’ve mentioned that my modern clock resembles a guillotine before, so I tested it out on the king.

Jeff: SHORT LIVE THE KING!I saved the game, and he died. His corpse appeared at the top of the clock before he disappeared.

King Tom passed out on top of the modern clock. He then glitched into the ocean and began swimming. But to me, I still saw him on the dock…swimming!

Tom swimming on the dock.He dove underwater and I could just see his shadow on the dock.

Tom's shadow appeared on the dock as he swam underneath.I also made a visit to Tom’s town to grab a bingo number I needed as well. I got a double ding, which means I’m one number away from a bingo in two separate directions. When I returned to Forest, I built another snowboy. Unfortunately, he wasn’t a good one this time.

Tammy asked me for some new furniture, but I didn’t have anything good on me. So I went to the Emporium and bought a present for her. It cost 100 bells, but she’s worth it.

Tammy: A cardboard box? Nice! This is perfect!A cardboard box. She couldn’t wait to go home and try it out.

Tammy: I'll try it out as soon as I get home! She gave me a green chair for my trouble. I then did a little trading; I sold some golden furniture to Vince and Vera. I also gave a green New Year’s hat to Jason.

At 10:00, I opened my gate for Friday Night Forest. Squishy and Louis-S came over to visit. We started dancing for no apparent reason.

Louis-S, me, and Squishy dancing. We also watered Agent S’s plot. Just in case Nook planted a house seed, we want it to grow!

Watering a house plot. After some hammer violence, we hung out in my house for a while. Everyone discovered my toilet…

Taking turns using the toilet.I went to visit Big Top, and he was talking about chocolate pie, and pie in general.

Big Top: To be totally honest, though, I like any kind of pie! It's seriously the perfect food, unlike you.Squishy and Louis followed me into Big Top’s house, and the oblivious elephant asked me a very stupid question.

In Big Top's house with Louis and Squishy, Big Top asks me if any guests are visiting.Louis left a little before 11:00, and then I started doing some glitching.

Standing on the modern clock.Standing in the river.Jeff, standing in a house plot: I'm Agent S.And then Squishy and I did some dancing in Club LOL.

Jeff and Squishy dancing at Club LOL.I ended the party around 11:20. Have a great weekend, everyone!

My First Adoption

The snowboy I built yesterday sent me a letter today, along with this snowman fridge.

My new snowman fridge.I saw Big Top soon after starting up the game, as I usually do (since he lives near me). I spoke with him and he asked me to make a delivery to Teddy. No problem. So I tracked down the oversized teddy bear and give him the package. He appreciated it, and he rewarded me…with his picture!

Teddy: It's Teddy's pic. I really hope it's not something you already have! This really shocked me. I like Teddy and all, and I help him out when I can. But I don’t seem to run into him very often, at least not compared to most of my other villagers. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad he gave me his picture. But it blows my mind that I got Teddy’s picture before Big Top’s or even Skye’s. Anyway, I put it in my house to take a look at it.

Teddy's pic.Teddy’s favorite quote is “No pain, no gain.”

Quote on Teddy's pic: No pain, no gain!I visited Tom’s town for some bingo numbers, and I glitched onto his zen clock while I was there.

Jeff, standing on a zen clock: I'm cuckoo. But then he saved the game… and killed me!

Passing out on the zen clock.Later on, I saw that Squishy contacted me with an offer too good to turn down. She asked if I wanted to adopt Agent S! You better believe I do! So I quickly headed to her town Cosmic. She has a lot of cool patterns on the ground there.

Patterns on the ground in Cosmic. Her town is really beautiful.

Squishy's town of Cosmic.I made my way down to Agent S’s house and started talking to her. She said she was looking for a good town to move to. Uh, Forest, duh! She agreed to move in! Agent S is one of my favorite villagers in the series, so it’s really great to have her in my town. Thanks again, Squishy!

Agent S: Well, looks like my mind is made up. Agent S is moving to Forest! I can't wait to hear more about it!I asked if there was any way I could repay Squishy, and she said she was looking for a perfect peach for her museum. Easy! I went to the locker in the train station and got a basket of nine perfect peaches for her. She then asked if I’d like to see her house. It was every bit as impressive as her town. I never thought the sleek set would look so good in purple!

Purple sleek furniture in Squishy's house. In another room, she has the harvest furniture. But the dolly on the floor was creeping us out!

Getting freaked out by a dolly. When I returned to Forest, I saw that I had an igloo in town. I knew I was now unable to invite the camper to live in Forest, so I was hoping it was someone I didn’t care for. Turns out it was Joey the duck (whew). There’s nothing wrong with Joey, and he’s one of the better ducks. But I wouldn’t have invited him to live in Forest anyway.

Joey: Hey there! I'm here in town camping! I picked Forest randomly off a map.Crazy Redd was in town, and I took a chance on a dynamic painting. I’ll let you know tomorrow if it’s real or not. I built another snowboy today, and it was a perfect one again! Maybe I’m finally getting the hang of it.

Snowboy: This color! This shine! This size!Up in the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Tristan from Big city was my most recent dream visitor. I know Tristan is a regular commenter here, so thank you, Tristan!

Luna: According to the latest feedback, a client named Tristan from Big City enjoyed your dream. When I ran into Teddy again, he didn’t seem to like the cold weather of Forest.

Teddy: I tried to wash my face this morning, and the water was frozen. He actually said he wanted to move out of town. Even though I have his picture now, I’m not ready to let him leave yet. I like him a lot, but I’ll still let him go eventually. Just not today.

I got a new QR code submission from Warruuna; it’s a stone pebble pathway, and this is what it looks like:

Kim's stone pebble pathway design. If you’d like to use it, the code is available to scan from the QR Codes page. Thank you, Warruuna! I hope you’ll visit often!

Instrument Shelter

My instrument panel project was finished today, so I attended the completion ceremony.

Isabelle: Welcome to the grand completion ceremony for Forest's vital instrument shelter project! And of course, I had to test it out. Unfortunately, it told me the weather was going to remain nice.

Looks like the weather's going to stay nice!Naturally, I wanted it to snow so I wouldn’t have to water my flowers. But still, this will be one of those rare PWPs that’s actually useful. Other than bridges, most town projects just make your town look better but don’t actually help you out.

Anyway, I tried making a snowboy today…and I actually made him correctly for a change! He’ll be sending me a piece of snowman furniture in the mail tomorrow.

Snowboy: This head! This body! This is exactly the perfect balance I love!I got a new router today, and I tested it out with Tom this afternoon. I went to his town and I was able to connect on my first try. Also, sometimes his other friends were unable to enter the town when I was there. But his town filled up quickly today.

Hanging out in Tomville with Tom and his friends. He told me to check out his instrument shelter, and it said it was going to be sunny out–even though it was nighttime in Tomville!

Looks like the atmospheric pressure is rising, so it will be sunny out.Chris asked to come over so he could collect signatures for a petition, so I returned to Forest and opened my gate. Tom and Chris both got in without any problems. So it appears that my new router is working much better than my old one. So anyone that’s on my roster and has had trouble connecting, feel free to start trying again. I’ll be opening my gate Friday night around 10pm Eastern time. By the way, I would have taken a picture with Chris, but I don’t think I even saw him the whole time. He collected those sigs like a ninja.

Once he was done, I ended the party. I went up to the Dream Suite, and Luna told me that Carol from Highrule was my most recent dream visitor.

Luna: According to the latest feedback, a client named Carol from Highrule enjoyed your dream.Aurora was still sick, so I bought some medicine for her once again.

Aurora takes her medicine.I spoke with Tia, and she asked me to fetch Rolf for her. What am I, a dog? Anyway, Tia told Rolf that she found something of his in her flower bed.

Tia: Although I don't know why I keep finding your things in the middle of my flower bed...It makes you wonder what Rolf is doing in her flower bed so often. Is he peeping through her windows?? Or maybe he just uses that spot as a litterbox. Some questions are better left unanswered, methinks. But Rolf seemed uncomfortable and quickly made up an excuse to leave.

Rolf: OK. If we're done, I'm going back to making up limericks about shellfish. See ya later!Tia thanked me and gave me a maze wall as a reward for bringing Rolf to her house. I then ended my game for the day, but I’ll be back with more tomorrow. Hope to see you then!
