Katie Drops Her Ticket

The snowboy sent me this snowman lamp in the mail today. Despite the expression on my face, I actually like the lamp.

My new snowman lamp.Outside, Molly saw me walking with a shovel and she was afraid I was going to pitfall her! I wouldn’t pitfall you, Molly!

Molly: I see... You'd better not be digging random holes for me to fall into! There was an igloo at the campsite today, so I went in to check it out. Jay was inside, talking about how far he had to run to get to my town.

Jay: I wonder how far I ran... Maybe a hundred miles or so?
You’re a bird, why didn’t you fly??

I went to my snowman and rolled his eyes. He rolled a 22, and that gave me a bingo! Finally!

Snowman: BINGOOOOO!He gave me a snow machine. Just what I wanted!

My new snow machine! I love it!I built another snowman so that I could get a new bingo card, and then Tom asked me to visit his town. Katie was in my town, so I tried to take her with me. But as she was boarding the train, she dropped her ticket.

Katie drops her ticket as she boards the train. She went out to pick it up, but it was too late. The train door shut and she couldn’t follow me.

Porter: Have a safe trip! Eek eek!I believe this happens if the destination town has already had Katie recently. It would be quite annoying if you kept getting her every day or two! She’s annoying enough as it is. Once I arrived in Tomville, Tom showed me his failed snowman. His friend Kippei also joined in.

Tom's failed snowman with a huge body and tiny head.We tried glitching onto Tom’s well, but we couldn’t get it to work. Tom’s Re-Tail was offering premium prices for peaches, but perfect peaches wouldn’t count towards the bonus.

Once Tom sent us home, I updated my dream town at the Dream Suite. Luna told me that Rose from RoseHill was my most recent dream visitor.

Kim let me know that she needed my bingo numbers, so I opened the gate for her. After getting her numbers, she sat on my town tree to take a look at my town history. According to the tree, Kim was my 222nd visitor.

Visitors to Forest so far: 222 people.Later on, I updated my town tune. Instead of Deck the Halls, I went with Saria’s Song from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I also made a new pattern, the Nintendo logo. It isn’t quite as sharp as I hoped, but there’s only so much you can do with 32 pixels of width.

My Nintendo logo flag.If you’d like the pattern, you can scan it from the QR Codes page.

Petitions Aplenty

This morning, I bought some turnips from Joan. She was selling them for 97 bells apiece, and I bought 1,200 of them.

Joan: So 1,200 turnips comes out to be 116,400 bells altogether. Do you wanna buy them?Skye asked me to collect signatures for a petition to ban bubble gum on benches.

Skye: There's a new petition out! Have you heard? It's called Ban Bubble Gum on Benches. Before looking for another town though, I finished up my tasks around town–including my shopping run. At the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Claire from Monaco was my most recent dream visitor.

Luna: According to the latest feedback, a client named Claire from Monaco enjoyed your dream.None of my best friends were online, so I posted on my Facebook page to see if anyone would let me collect signatures in their town. Daniel (Buzz from Westmort) agreed to help me out. So I headed to his town, which looks really nice.

Buzz's nice town of Westmort.Seeing his cube sculpture makes me wish I hadn’t put mine in the corner of my town. They look so much better out in the open like this.

Buzz's cube sculpture.Biff took a break from toning his pinky toes to sign my petition. How nice of him.

Biff: Hey, Jeff! I need a break from toning my pinky toes. Whatcha need, eh bro?I was very jealous of his football fish lamp. I want it!

Biff's football fish lamp.Julian the unicorn also signed the petition.

Julian signs my petition. After I collected all six signatures, I returned home to Forest. Thank you again, Daniel/Buzz! By the way, now that I have a decent router that seems to work pretty well, I will occasionally post on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, or on a blog entry if I have an item or villager to give away. For example, I do have a number of extra villager pictures, so I might give them away at some point.

Anyway, Squishy contacted me asking me to open my gate because she had a petition of her own to collect signatures for. So I opened up, and I saw that Tiffiny was online too. We had trouble connecting before I got my new router, so I asked if she wanted to try visiting to see if it would work now. Fortunately, it did work as Squishy and Tiffiny came over. As you can see, all three of us were deep in thought.

Me, Tiffiny, and Squishy thinking.Tiffiny told me that she actually likes Tammy the bear cub! I gladly offered to give Tammy to her whenever she eventually decides to move out (the sooner the better). But for now, I hunted down Skye to give her my completed petition. She thanked me and gave me a revolving spice rack as a reward. Hooray.

Skye: It's a revolving spice rack. Thanks so much for being my number-one supporter! After Big Top, Skye is the next on the list of villager pics I’m due for. Even though Skye has only been in town since October, I’ve talked to her a lot in that span. So I’m hoping to get her picture sometime soon as well. After Squishy finished collecting signatures, I ended the party and built a snowboy. I made him right this time!

Snowboy: This head! This body! This is exactly the perfect balance I love! And with that, I finished up my day in New Leaf. I’ll see you all next time!

Agent S Moves In

My last bingo snowman had melted away, so I needed to make a new one. When I did, I rolled his eyes and got a number 3. That gave me a triple ding, which means I’m one number from a bingo in three separate ways. The snowman says this is more rare than an actual bingo, but I’m not sure I believe him. I seem to get lots of triple dings.

Snowman: TRIPLE DING!I went over to Tom’s town to check his bingo numbers, but he didn’t have any that I needed.

Me getting angry at Tom's snowman.Tom’s friends Wolf and Daniel also came over to Tomville. We were digging holes in front of the bench and then falling into them.

Me and Tom in pitfalls. It’s interesting that his town fills up so quickly, even when he doesn’t plan anything. But even with my new router that lets me connect to more people, and a regular scheduled time I open up, my town still didn’t fill up last night. The people on my roster aren’t nearly as active as the people on his roster.

Once Tom (abruptly) ended the party, I found myself back in Forest. I went to meet my newest villager, Agent S!

Agent S: Well, I've taken it to heart, and I decided to move to Forest. Aren't you totally psyched?!Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Poppy from Puddleby was my most recent dream visitor.

Luna: According to the latest feedback, a client named Poppy from Puddleby enjoyed your dream.Saturday is the last day to sell turnips before they go bad, so I went to Re-Tail to check today’s prices. They were paying 106 bells each. I went ahead and sold them all for a small profit; at least I didn’t lose money on them.

Reese: Well then...I could probably part with 127,200 bells for all of it, if that sounds OK with you?Once night fell, I went up to Club LOL. I asked for a random song and K.K. performed K.K. Aria for me.

K.K.: Enough tuning--let's groove. This next one is for you, Jeff. It's called K.K. Aria.
