Today is St. Patrick’s Day, which is known as Shamrock Day in the world of Animal Crossing.
Isabelle can be found in front of the town tree, dressed in green. She’s handing out shamrock hats for the occasion. Don’t forget to get yours!
I put mine on, and this is how it looks on me:
There is also a special face-cutout standee to commemorate the holiday. You can be the leprechaun holding the four-leaf clover next to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Yeah, I think they covered everything except the Lucky Charms.
Animals around town will comment about the holiday and your shamrock hat.
Kidd also warned me about pinching people.
Tia asked me to collect signatures for a petition called the Spider-Relocation Service. Tom invited me over to his town, so I collected the signatures there.
Chevre, Roald, T-Bone, Dora, Charlise, and Cheri all joined the cause.
Tom’s friends Aggie and Vicky were there, and we all hung out at the event plaza. Aggie had a green butt heart balloon.
After Tom ended the session, I returned to Tia to give her the completed petition. She rewarded me with a bingo wheel.
Today’s most recent dream visitor was Skylar from EHT. I hope you’re all having a great St. Patrick’s Day! See you next time!
One more note. If there are any Final Fantasy X fans here, be sure to check out Yuna’s summoner outfit on the QR Codes page. Special thanks to KijoOno Mayor of Okinawa for making this awesome outfit!
Later on this evening, Big Top tried to tell me he was moving out on March 21st. His request was promptly denied.
I was having a bad luck day today; I kept falling on my face.
A message posted on the bulletin board pointed out that tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day. Of course the game calls it Shamrock Day, but that’s a start. St. Patrick’s Day wasn’t recognized at all in earlier Animal Crossing games, aside from a shamrock hat DLC item sent out for City Folk in 2009.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Lil Tina from WarmArms was my most recent dream visitor.
And over by my tree stump (the one I cut down Friday night to do the glitch), I found a famous mushroom!
I took it over to my lighthouse and ate it. Yum!
That’s all for today, but I’ll be back with more tomorrow. Hope to see you then!
A message posted on the town bulletin board said that cherry blossoms will bloom on April 1st. So that will be something to look forward to.
Chip was looking for the biggest horse mackerel, and I was having a tough time beating Teddy’s record of 17.20 inches. With only six minutes to go, I tweeted that it wasn’t looking good. But I didn’t give up. And with just three minutes to go, I caught a 17.35 inch fish and quickly took it to Chip. It put me in first place!
Chip rewarded me with a marine pop wall. And now, time was on my side. Teddy wasn’t able to beat my fish, and I won the tournament! Teddy won second place of course, and Agent S got third place.
After the ceremony, Teddy congratulated me on the win. He was a good sport about it.
I also saw Big Top, who has finally recovered from his cold. He thanked me for the medicine and he gave me a space captain’s seat.
Agent S was telling me all about a dream she had.
I went up to the museum to put my new trophy in my trophy room. I also stopped to look at my “T” collection.
Haha, of course those are just my duplicate villager photos, viewed from above. I also put my new marine pop wall up in one of my other exhibit rooms.
At the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Melissa from the town of Newleaf was my most recent dream visitor. And I decided to take a dream myself, to Wendy’s town Oakville.
After exploring Oakville (and avoiding Eugene), I woke up to resume my game in Forest. After 8:00, I went up to Club LOL to hear K.K.’s Saturday night performance. He played Agent K.K. for me.
