The snowboy from yesterday sent me this snowman table in the mail today.
I built another snowboy, and he was perfect too. So I’ll be getting my next-to-last piece of snowman furniture tomorrow. After that, I went to meet my new neighbor, Nan the goat.
She moved in from Waldovia, which is the town of someone I’ve StreetPassed. Due to the unbalanced nature of the StreetPass relay system, it’s from a person I’ve StreetPassed 12 times…but she has apparently only received my Mii twice (because it still asks me to rate her each time).
Anyway, I have updated my map on my town page to reflect Nan’s arrival. She moved into the southern part of town, directly between Teddy’s house and Skye’s house.
As I was watering my flowers, I found a pitfall seed…the hard way. Oops.
Rolf asked me for a new greeting. He likes to think he’s tough, but he’s really a softie inside.
Up on Main Street, Luna told me that Devonna from Hillvile was my most recent dream visitor. In Club LOL, I asked K.K. for a random song and he played some salsa for me. But it just made me hungry.
At GracieGrace, the sale season has begun! I decided I’ll take advantage of the reduced prices to buy the gorgeous furniture set. The only gorgeous item she had today was the sofa, which I bought for 96,000 bells.
After that, I wrapped up my night in Forest. But there is another matter of business for today…the giveaway for the mermaid set!
I took all of the entries from JVGS and Tumblr and pasted them into a spreadsheet. I sorted the entries to check for duplicates, and I ended up with 273 entries. I used random.org to generate a random number, and it gave me #219. Checking my spreadsheet, that means the winner is…. sapphirecrossing!
Congratulations! I will be contacting sapphirecrossing shortly after posting this blog entry. I will post on the blog when the prizes have been delivered. Thanks to all who participated and stay tuned for more giveaways in the future!
***Update: I got in touch with the contest winner, and her character is Cloudie from Celestia. I dropped off the mermaid set at her town tonight.

I checked my mail, and I had three letters waiting for me. One was from Isabelle, who sent me a chocolate cake. Molly sent me a valentine too, with a chocolate heart attached. And I also got a letter from Mom, who said she tried to make homemade chocolate, but it didn’t turn out. So she sent me a cacao tree instead. Here are my three Valentine’s Day gifts.
It was snowing outside, so that provided some relief from having to water my flowers. And I noticed a new house plot! Already?? Nan the goat is moving in tomorrow. Kidd may like her, but I’m not sure if I will.
Big Top was enjoying the snow…in more ways than one. He was eating the snowflakes! Hopefully he knows not to eat any yellow snow he may find on the ground.
I made a snowboy out of the snow (not the yellow snow) and I made a good one today! So I’ll be getting a new snowman furniture item in the mail tomorrow.
If I’m not mistaken, I’ll only need two more items after the one I get tomorrow. Until then, I’ve decided to make nothing but snowboys. Unless I make a snowman or snowmam by accident, of course.
At the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Hana from Somewher was my most recent dream visitor. And in Tia’s house, Tia offered me a tea set in a trade! Are…those her kids?
And Tia was also telling me a story about being without napkins. But I kind of got the impression she was talking about toilet paper.
I opened my gate at 10:00, but nobody came. So I closed up by 10:30. I finished up my night with a nice cup of
Thanks to Brewster for the hot chocolate and thanks to you all for reading. By the way, if you haven’t read my
The snowman gave me a curling stone, which is a duplicate item. That confirms that I’ve received the entire ski set now. Andrew and Noah were also in Tom’s town this afternoon. I was having a bad luck day, so I kept falling on my face. Or into the bulletin board, in this case.
After a while, we got disconnected. Back in Forest, Kidd gave me a birdcage for some reason.
I tried making a snowboy, but I didn’t make him good enough. Teddy approached me and asked if he could call me mayor too. Yes, you better! Or I’ll call you “evicted.”
Luna told me that Sophia from Hyrule was my most recent dream visitor.
Saharah was in town today, and she redecorated my main room with a modern screen and a red tile.
I did some island hopping, and one of the islands had a cabana bookcase that I needed for my future giveaway. I now have 11 of the 13 items I need. I just need to find the screen and wallpaper now.
