Late last night (technically early this morning), Tom invited me over to check his new bingo snowmen for the day. His friends Aggie and Kamica also came over to visit. Tom hadn’t rolled the snowmen’s eyes yet, so we each rolled them at the same time.
Then this morning, my Re-Tail was buying turnips for 115 bells apiece. Today is the last day to sell them, so I sold all that I had. I made a small profit on them this week.
When I worked at the Roost, Gracie came in for coffee. This was only the second time she’s visited the cafe.
When I went back outside, I got some very good news from Tabby: She’s moving out on January 16th! YESSSSS! Finally! Woohoooooo! I just have to remember not to speak to her if she pings me. (I wonder if me ignoring her sickness played any role in her decision).
Big Top invited me over to his house and I chose 4:00 as the time to meet him. By the time I remembered, it was 4:03. That’s not too bad, right? But I saw him outside my house instead of inside his own. At any rate, he apologized for not being home. So I’m hoping I’m not in any further trouble with the green elephant.
When I took my money from my turnip sales and put them in the bank, my account topped five million bells for the first time.
While I was on Main Street, I did my shopping run. When I walked into GracieGrace, I thought there was a bunny hood on sale for a moment. It turns out it was just Gabi’s head.
At the Emporium, I bought K.K. Ballad. I already had the song, but I’ve been meaning to try turning it into a music box. So I took it and a giant clam shell to Cyrus over at Re-Tail. As I was waiting for him to finish it, I purposely made a flawed snowboy.
Down on the beach, I found Gulliver. He was talking about a country that has lots of alpacas, and how he wanted to snuggle up to them and pet them over and over. (It was kind of creepy).
I was not sure of the country by the choices he gave me. I knew it wasn’t Mexico, but I took a guess among the other choices and I guessed correctly. He’s headed to Peru! After that, I returned to Re-Tail and I took home my K.K. ballad music box shell.
When I started the game up later on, I had a letter in the mail from the post office. They congratulated me for saving five million bells and they sent me this aluminum briefcase, filled with cash! Awesome!
It’s Saturday, so that means K.K. will be performing at Club LOL tonight. Hopefully I’ll remember to check him out later.
That’s all I have for now, but if anyone already on my 3DS roster wants Tabby for some strange reason, please contact me. It can be on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, etc. But you’ll need to be available on Thursday evening (Eastern U.S. time). And keep in mind, that I have trouble connecting to some people. If we’re unable to connect after a few attempts, I may have to give her to someone else.
One last note: Two new patterns have been submitted to the QR Codes page. One is a pattern of blue tiles that could be used for a path (or maybe a bathroom floor) submitted by Thomas, and the other is a McDonald’s logo submitted by Beth. Check them out if you’re interested.
I now have three of the four snowtyke items. I can’t wait to be done with him, because purposely making bad snowpeople hinders my ability to collect the other snowman items. But I did make a snowman today to get a new bingo card. Tom invited me over to his town to get a few bingo numbers stamped off my card. The northern lights were shining in the skies over Tomville.
Angus also took notice of the aurora in the sky and he started getting deep on me.
When I returned to Forest, I saw that Marina was in the igloo.
I had the opportunity to ask her to move into town, but I declined the option. Marina is pretty cool (eight thumbs-up), but if I use my tenth villager spot on purpose, I want it to be someone I really, really want. Because I would feel awful if I asked Marina to move in, and then tomorrow Bob or Lolly was in the igloo. I like keeping my options open.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Jacob from the town of Black was my most recent dream visitor.
The four of us (and Shrunk) danced for a while.
We hung out for a bit as I waited to see if anyone else would come. They didn’t, although Tiffiny told me she was trying to get in but couldn’t connect. So Ryan and I went out to the island and went on a few island tours. We started off with a dragonfly tour and a hammer tour. We got gold Tortimer awards for both, but Ryan beat me in both of those games.
We then went on a balloon-popping tour, and I beat Ryan for the only time of the night. We finished up with the ancient fish encoun-tour, where we had to catch the coelacanth and arapaima. I started out quick and took a little lead, but Ryan caught up to me and we finished tied. After that, we returned to Forest and I soon ended the party.
After watering my flowers, I rolled up today’s snowballs and built a snowtyke. As planned, he was the only well-built member of his family.
You get a different reward depending on how many of his other family members are built well (0, 1, 2, or 3). I already got the rewards for 3 and 2 (the snowman matryoshka and snow bunny), and tomorrow I should get the reward for 0. So I can finally build a new snowman tomorrow and get myself a bingo card again.
