Town Tree Losing Leaves

I’ve decided to try making Jack’s robe as a clothing pattern. This is how it came out:

My design for Jack's robe.I also made a black and orange variation.

I checked turnip prices at Re-Tail today, and they were only selling for 67 bells. No thanks. A trip up to the Dream Suite revealed that Mark from Maerwen was my most recent dream visitor.

While making my rounds tonight, I found a lost item.

I picked up a lost item!I started asking my villagers if it belonged to them. On my fourth attempt, I found out that it belonged to Rolf.

Rolf: Ah! This is most definitely my bag! I've been looking everywhere for it!I was hoping for his villager picture, but he only gave me a blue-grid shirt. Come on, Rolf. Quit holding out on me.

Over at the event plaza, I noticed that my town tree has lost a lot of leaves. On forums, I often see people worrying about their town tree getting smaller. But it’s just losing leaves due to it being the autumn season. They will grow back in the spring, so don’t worry–your tree is not shrinking.

My town tree starting to lose some of its leaves.Tabby approached me, asking if she could call me J-rock like some other animals are doing. I told her no.

Tabby: What? But we're such good friends! Why not?!And when I talked to Skye, she asked me for a mole cricket. So I went around town until I found one. I returned it to her, and she then rewarded me with a heart tee. Why not your picture??

Skye: It's a heart tee. Thanks again for your help! It means a lot to me.

Turnips & Tuna

Vladimir was camping over at my campsite today. I know him well from my GameCube town. He used to live in my town for years until he moved out and got replaced by another pink bear, Ursala, who moved into the same exact spot that Vladimir occupied.

Vladimir: It makes it real nice to camp here. Almost like it's really familiar or something like that!I actually played early enough to catch Joan today, so I bought 500 turnips from her at a price of 104 bells apiece.

Joan: So 500 turnips comes out to be... 52,000 bells altogether. Do you wanna buy them? When I ran into Teddy, he invited me to play a game of hide and seek.

Teddy: You like sweating, right? Come on!I agreed to play, and he gave me 15 minutes to find him, Tabby, and Molly. I found Teddy almost instantly.

Teddy: Aw, barbells! You got me!Molly was also nearby, and I found my second villager with less than a minute gone by.

Molly: Eek! You found me! I thought I'd be safe here, but you saw right through my plan!Tabby was a bit harder to find, since she was on the opposite side of town. But I still found her with around ten minutes left on the timer.

Tabby: Wow, I thought I was totally seek proof, in my cage.We then gathered back at the town hall, where Teddy congratulated me on winning the game and gave me some modern wood flooring.

I went up to Main Street for my shopping run and Luna told me that Guy from Aesis was my most recent dream visitor.

After that, I went down to the beach to do some fishing. Molly was also down there, and she said she was smitten with my sea bass! I wonder if she’s feeling okay.

Molly: Can we talk for a second about your fantastic sea bass? I'm completely smitten! She offered to give me a classic bed for it, and I agreed to the trade. But I then resumed my fishing, making several trips up and down the beach. And then it happened…I caught my first tuna!

I caught a tuna! And now it's stuck in my head!I took it up to the museum and donated it. All of the new November fish have now been caught, and I only need four more fish in the entire game!

That’s all I have for tonight, but have a good week, everybody! I’ll be back with more soon.

First Bitterling

I was watering my flowers when the clock struck 8:00 tonight. I just happened to be over by my modern clock, so I got to see it light up. That’s something I probably haven’t witnessed for a couple months.

My modern clock lights up at the top of the hour.I talked to Tabby, and she said she was too hyper from eating some gingerbread. She asked me how she could slow down. I chose the option that said “a bonk on the head.” But she figured that would just make her crazier. Very true.

Tabby: What? Like with one of those toy-hammer thingies? Wouldn't that just totally make me crazier?I went up to Main Street, where Luna told me that Jayden from Montoya was my most recent dream visitor. Next, I went to Club LOL to get a new song from K.K. I let him choose a song and he played “I Love You.”

K.K.: Enough tuning--let's groove. This next one is for you, Jeff. It's called I Love You.I went to visit Big Top after that, and Kidd was visiting him as well.

Kidd: Oh, hey! Didn't think I'd see you here in Big Top's place... So, uh, hi, skippy.Big Top asked if it was really me under the green pumpkin head.

Big Top: Is that really you under that green-pumpkin head, killer? He said he should take a bite of it to find out for sure! No, no, no, that’s not necessary!

Big Top: If I took a big bite out of it, that would settle the mystery once and for all!Back outside, I did a little fishing and caught my first bitterling!

I caught a bitterling! What's it so bitter about?I now have caught 67 fish and 67 insects. So I need five more of each to complete those collections at the museum. One of the fish I need, the tuna, is in season now. So I need to do some ocean fishing one of these days.

That wrapped up my night in Forest. But earlier in the day, I took a dream suite adventure to a lion themed town.

The lion banner flag in Lion Town.If you haven’t seen the pictures from Lion Town, make sure you check them out. It’s a gorgeous town and it’s the best dream town I’ve visited yet.
