Today, I paid off my latest house expansion and I went with the only option left, to expand my back room. It will be done tomorrow.
I finished up customizing my modern wood furniture with the diamond wood pattern. I don’t have the entire set yet, but everything that I do have has been customized.
There was a tent over at the campsite, so I went inside to see who was visiting. Turns out it was Soleil the hamster.
When I went up to the Dream Suite to update my dream town, I saw that my most recent dream visitor was T. Zelda from Hyrule!
Over by Re-Tail, Tabby was talking about fairy tales. I wasn’t really paying much attention, and then an option came up where I could choose a poison apple. I hoped I was going to give her one.
And she acted as if she was grossed out by the notion of being awakened by a kiss from a prince. Tabby, that’s not something you ever have to worry about.
And over at town hall, Rolf was talking about how I rarely spend time at town hall. Hey now, I never asked to be mayor in the first place!
Aurora approached me and gave me a pawn for some reason.
Time to Party
Today was Big Top’s birthday, so I stopped by his house to wish him a good one.
Benedict was also there to celebrate Big Top’s birthday. He said he was going to show Big Top the best time he’s ever had. I don’t want to know what that means.
When I talked to Big Top, he asked if I brought him a present. Of course I did! I had a wonderful pawn to give him!
My friend Wendy came over to visit, wearing a monster mask. I wore my bug mask from yesterday.
In the Able Sisters, I bought this ghost mask and put it on.
Wearing the ghost mask, I stepped behind my tombstone picture on my face-cutout standee.
Wendy helped me spot some blue violets in my town, so I could finish surrounding my fountain with them. I’ve added a new picture of my fountain to my 
When I went to work at the cafe, Brewster told me that he didn’t need help.
Yesterday, he didn’t need help either, but I thought that was because 
Back outside, Aurora was talking about her shirt design called “shirt.”
I saw Canberra over by the bridge, and she asked if I could call her master.
Phineas made an appearance, and I talked to him to see what new badge he had for me. He gave me the Happy Homer Bronze badge for scoring 50,000 HHA points.
I then checked out the latest Nintendo Zone DLC, a fedora chair. It can not be ordered from the catalog.
When I was going back to Re-Tail to have more modern furniture customized, I noticed that the mini-dharma in my pockets could also be modified. Out of curiosity, I decided to give it a try. You can only change the color to white or blue, and I went with blue.
It does look better in blue, but I ended up giving it to Rolf anyway (when he asked for furniture). That’s all I have for today, but I’ll be back with more tomorrow. I hope to see you then! 🙂
The three dandelion puffs I blew yesterday have turned into three new dandelions today.
Being the start of a new month, I knew it was time for a new DLC item. So I went to the post office to see what it was. It’s a rice-plant bed…interesting.
I went to work at the cafe, but Brewster said he didn’t need help today. That’s odd. I didn’t think it was an event day…but more on that later.
I made her call me “master” instead. Anyway, while shaking a durian tree, I heard a springy “boing” sound effect. I got my net out and caught a bagworm. It’s a new bug for October.
Surprise Visitor
It’s not Halloween! What’s he doing here? It turns out he’s asking for help on the 31st.
He told me I’m expected to scare everyone in town. I’m supposed to find a costume to wear, but he gave me a head start by giving me a bug mask.
Some of the scary items will also be sold at the Able Sisters for 1,031 bells, Jack told me. He also reminded me to stock up on candy.

Let’s Go to the City
They’re also selling spooky furniture for October. I picked up this spooky lamp.
And the Able Sisters are indeed selling the scary items Jack talked about. Unfortunately, today they only had the same exact bug mask that Jack already gave me.
Aurora and Rolf both arranged meetings with me. So at 6:20, I had to meet Aurora at my house.
And at 6:30, I went to meet Rolf at his house. After I was done visiting with him, I went up to the Happy Homes Showcase. I hadn’t checked up there in a while, and there were three new SpotPass homes I hadn’t seen yet. One of them belong to Jeff from SB. So Jeff met Jeff.

And the other house belonged to Nate from Beantown. He had a really nice home.
When I returned to my town, I caught a yellow perch in the river. It’s another of the new catches for October. And then I spotted Phineas, for the first time in a long time. He gave me the Good Shopper badge.
