Today, Aurora suggested a new public works project, a fairy-tale bench.
But when I went to go take a look at it, I found out that I never attended the ceremony for the zen bell! So I went ahead and did that.
I returned to town hall when it was over. This is what the fairy-tale bench looks like:
When I went into Re-Tail, Molly was talking about selling a pack of gum. That sounds good! I wish I could buy gum with bells. Don’t you?
While walking outside, I found a lost item on the ground. Tabby was nearby, so I asked if it was hers. And it was.
She said she keeps her favorite makeup in it. She then rewarded me with something I did not expect at all: Tabby’s pic!
What?! She already gave me her pic on September 17th! So now I have two of them! Seriously, Tabby? Seriously?
One of them was bad enough. But to finally get a second villager pic and it’s the same one again? Ugh! Come on, Aurora. Come on, Molly. Big Top? Rolf? Step up your game before my house turns into a Tabby museum.
Anyway, I headed down to the beach, where I saw Gulliver. After talking to him about 15 times, he finally woke up. His clues indicated he was headed to Australia, so he will send me a gift from there tomorrow.
But he got a little too excited imagining how cool he would look in sunglasses.
After that, I made a solo trip out to the island (no disconnections when you play alone) and I played an easy bug-catching tour. I filled my pockets with flowers, and still earned a gold medal. Back on the island, it was too early in the day for good bugs, but I acted like Mr. Banana Grabber and filled my pockets with island fruit to sell when I returned home.
That’s all for now, but keep visiting JVGS for more Animal Crossing: New Leaf content in the coming days (and beyond). I have a new section coming up soon that I think you will enjoy. Enjoy your weekend, everyone! 🙂
She took my money and redecorated my main room. She installed a cabin wall and kiddie carpet.
I quickly returned my room to the way it was. Outside, Big Top told me how he was tired from all the relaxing he did today.
We sat on the yellow bench at the park, doing the Shrunk Funk Shuffle. We’re derpy and we know it.
After a disconnection (one of several we had throughout the night), Daisy returned with bubble wands for us. Thanks, Daisy!
After some merging and sliding by the train tracks, we headed down towards the dock. But first, Daisy let us know that she trapped “Cranberry” (Canberra) on the edge of the river. Since Cranberry smells pretty rotten, we decided to give her a bubble bath.
Of course the bubbles won’t reach all of her nooks and crannies, but hopefully it will remove some of the stench. After a rinse, we put her in the dryer on “fluff.” We then went down to the island, where we did a gardening tour. We had to fill the designated area with white flowers.
We earned a gold Tortimer award and eight medals. After that, we did some bug-catching and fishing. I believe I had three sharks in addition to the bugs I caught. I was almost ready to return to Forest when Daisy went on BRB. And then it happened. We disconnected. We lost all of our catches. So infuriating.
And Rolf was telling me he wanted to dig some tunnels, because digging holes is in a man’s nature. There are so many poorly chosen words in that sentence. For one thing, digging holes sounds like something that would be in a dog’s nature. And Rolf isn’t a dog or a man, he’s a tiger. So I’m all sorts of confused.
Meanwhile, Canberra asked me how her clothes looked on her. I chose the “…” option, and she took that to mean I was staring at her. Uhh, I don’t think so.
Over by town hall, Tabby asked me why I was holding a shovel. She asked if it was because I was going to dig a bunch of pitfalls. I hadn’t been planning on it, but that’s a great idea!
So I did. Since it was her idea, I decided to let Tabby enjoy it firsthand.
Despite my kindness, she was in a bad mood. She’s so unappreciative.
Teddy thanked me for coming, and I gave him my ruby polka-dot sofa as a birthday present.
He said days like this make him appreciate his bros and ladybros. Uhh, whatever you say.
Once I left Teddy’s birthday party, I saw Canberra again. She told me to take a cactus off of her hands. Too bad she meant it figuratively, not literally. I would have enjoyed seeing a cactus stuck to her. 😀
I then finished up my day by doing my shopping on Main Street. I’ll be back with more tomorrow. 🙂
