Even though I only post a new entry twice a month, I still try to play about once a week…mainly so I don’t get bedhead. 😛

When I played last week, I saw the entrance to the Resetti Surveillance Center was open. I dropped in for a visit, and I used his new machine to send Resetti scrambling! He was so mad that even he wanted to reset!

He got shot out of there like a cannonball, and Don calmly told me the test was successful. 😀

Yesterday, I made my usual March transformation into Mohawk McClover.

Today is Shamrock Day (St. Patrick’s Day), so I went over to the event plaza to pose for a picture in the face-cutout standee. Ah, me pot of gold be here!

Isabelle was also there, handing out shamrock hats. It conflicts with my green mohawk, but at least I tried it on for a moment.

Several of my villagers also wished me a happy Shamrock Day.

I found a lost item on the ground, and it took me a while to track down its owner. It belonged to the 8th villager I asked, Hornsby. And I did all that work just to return an empty bag! 😛

He rewarded me with a common chair.

Molly asked me to catch an ocean fish for her, so I went out and caught a squid!

Okay, well the squid I caught wasn’t actually Inkwell. 😛 But Molly thanked me for the (actual) squid, and she gave me a vintage camera as my reward.

Lolly told me that she received a package that was intended for Molly. I guess that’s somewhat understandable, since their names are almost the same. She asked if I could take it over to Molly, and I agreed to help out.

But Molly said it was something she forgot about; she already bought a new one. So she offered this package to me for 134 bells. That’s very cheap, so I accepted the deal. The item was a fishing vest.

However, I didn’t take the bait, so I had to throw it back in. 🎣

Inkwell was ready for me to dig up the time capsule he gave me last time. It’s only been two weeks! What good is a time capsule from just two weeks ago? Is life in Forest going to change that much in two weeks? 😛

So I dug it up and returned it to Inkwell. He jokingly asked if I wanted an old sweat-soaked kanji tee.

Except that he wasn’t joking! That sweat-soaked shirt is exactly what he gave me as my reward!

I spoke to him more, and he accused Big Top of being a jewelry thief…only to discover that Big Top was only carrying marbles. That’s the same exact accusation he hurled at Lolly two months ago.

Back outside, Agent S asked me for a nice Forest peach. A quick glance at my pockets revealed I had a perfect peach already. So I gave it to her, she took a big bite, and I was completely shocked when she said this:

It was a rotten peach, and I didn’t even realize it! Agent S was furious at me, and I felt so bad! I’m sure this will harm our friendship level. 🙁 She even said she’s not going to forget it for a long time. Oof.

Once she cooled off, I did speak with her several more times. I bought a couple of items she was selling, and we bonded when I told her I like roller coasters.

I shot down a balloon present, and I couldn’t help but noticing that they don’t seem to fly as high in the sky as they do in New Horizons.

But at least the balloons in New Horizons don’t contain balloon furniture. 😛 This balloon gave me a balloon floor.

Rolf told me he was going to move away on March 10th, but I quickly changed his plans.

Last week, Lolly told me that Big Top has been moping around, and she didn’t know why.

Big Top then turned to me and said something truly profound.

I wasn’t sure what to make of the situation, and then out of nowhere, Big Top got right to the point: He just can’t wait for the next Animal Intersection game.

Lolly was a bit irritated, because she was genuinely worried that something serious was wrong with Big Top. 😛

Inkwell decided that he wanted to prepare a time capsule, and he asked me to bury it for him.

I dug a hole in the northwest part of town and dropped the capsule in. Now I’ll just have to wait until he’s ready for me to dig it up.

I played again today, which happens to be Valentine’s Day. I headed over to the Roost for my sweet treat from Brewster: Hot chocolate!

I received three letters in the mail for the occasion. My secretary Isabelle sent me a chocolate cake (which I ate), my apparent valentine Molly sent me a chocolate heart (which I also ate), and Mom sent me a cocao tree (which I didn’t eat).

By the time I drank my hot chocolate and ate my cake and candy, it was midnight. And pretty much everyone was already in bed! Well, except for Rolf. He asked me for a piece of fruit, and I gave him a perfect peach. He loved it, and he gave me an industrial wall in return.
