Adorable Little Guy

Rolf and Vivian were having a conversation about photographs tonight. Vivian was saying that one bad photo can haunt a person for years…such as one where Vivian was photographed eating popcorn.

Vivian: There's one tragic photo of me eating popcorn that still gives me nightmares.

Rolf told her that she shouldn’t worry about little things like one bad photo. Vivian responded that a bad photo can happen to anyone, even “an adorable little guy” like Rolf.

Vivian: Even an adorable little guy like you can look goofy if a photographer catches you at the wrong moment.

However, Rolf was not happy about being called an adorable little guy. 😀

Rolf: ...Wait, adorable little guy? I ain't adorable, and I ain't little, sister! Watch it! On Toy Day!

Soon after that, Rolf informed me that Lolly was planning on moving away…as Lolly was standing right behind him. Why aren’t I hearing this from you, Lolly?

Rolf: I heard a rumor that Lolly is thinking about moving out of town. Do you know anything about that?

Of course, it wasn’t easy to get Lolly to mention it. But she eventually did, later on. She wanted to leave on June 28th, but I made her change her mind.

I found a lost item on the ground, and it turned out to be Boots’ goalie glove.

Boots: With this thing I'll be able to play keeper again! The guys will be glad!

He was happy to have it back, and he rewarded me with an apple. Yep, just a regular apple.

Lolly’s Tears of Joy

It’s Saturday night, so I headed over to Club LOL to catch the show. Kabuki was the only animal there for the show, so I said hello to my former villager.

Kabuki: Oh ho! Jeff! I'm here for fun! Meooo-OH!
As opposed to, say, a dentist appointment?

I asked for a random song, and K.K. performed K.K. Swing for me and the cat.

I visited Lolly, and she said she was extremely hungry. I gave her a perfect cherry, and she loved it.

Lolly: These are tears of joy!

She rewarded me with a hologram machine. Lolly’s photo might as well be a hologram, because it seems like I’ll never get my hands on it.

I spoke with her over and over, and at one point, it looked like her stuffed panda was looking at me! 😛

Lolly: Well...it's not much, but it's home. I've tried to do little things here and there to make it comfortable.

Molly wanted to move out of town on June 23rd, but I changed her mind for her.

Claudia informed me of a “strange man” lying down on the beach.

Claudia: So this just happened. I was down at the beach, and I saw a strange man lying on the sand.

Of course, she was talking about Gulliver. He mentioned going to an island where giant heads are carved out of rocks, so I knew he was headed to Easter Island.

Cotton Candy

Sylvia the kangaroo was camping in Forest tonight. Even though my town is full anyway, I would not want this thing in my town regardless.

Sylvia: I've been traveling around to a bunch of different towns.
Don’t stop now. Keep hopping along.

Big Top informed me that he had a huge pile of cotton candy that he just finished off. That would actually be pretty funny to see an elephant consume a large amount of cotton candy. I bet it wouldn’t take long!

Big Top: I had a gigantic pile of cotton candy that I would've shared. But I just polished it all off.

Lolly told me that she was going to move away on June 8th! That’s only three days away, so that was cutting it rather close!

Lolly: Well, that really resonated with me. So I've decided to move on this 8th of this month.
Wrong.

Fortunately, I was able to change her mind. But if I hadn’t noticed she was moving, she would have been gone by the next time I played. 😮 That’s probably going to happen one of these days. Not necessarily to Lolly, but one of the non-Amiibo villagers are probably going to end up leaving without me knowing.

I caught a rainbow stag, and Lolly noticed it when I talked to her again.

Lolly: Chap! Rumor has it that you've got yourself a rainbow stag.

She offered to give me a six-ball tee in return. That’s a terrible trade, but I made it anyway. Anything for Lolly! 😛

Lolly: You could have my six-ball tee in return. What do you say?

The interesting part is that I just put on a six-ball tee in New Horizons earlier in the day! Since I hadn’t changed my clothes in New Leaf lately, I went ahead and put it on here as well.
