Floundering Around

Hornsby had a flea on him tonight, so I used my net to pick the flea off.

Hornsby: Did you get rid of that flea for me, J-bot?

Claudia asked me for some furniture to replace her red vase, but I didn’t have any tabletop furniture with me. But still, I had just the thing for her. 😉

Claudia: Oh! A flea?

At Club LOL, I again asked K.K. Slider for a sad song, and he played King K.K. for me. Boots and Hippeux were also in attendance.

K.K.: Here's a jam that makes the blues seem like old news... King K.K..

Hornsby asked me for an olive flounder, so I went ocean fishing. It took me a while, but I finally caught the olive flounder. As I went looking for Hornsby though, Lolly pinged me. Guess what she wanted.

Lolly: Oooh! Chap! Is that your olive flounder?

The olive flounder, of course. Since she’s Lolly and I need her picture, I had to sell it to her; she gave me 800 bells. Unfortunately, that meant I had to start my fishing search all over again. Ugh.

Again, it took me way too long to catch another olive flounder. But this one eventually made its way to Hornsby, and he was happy about it.

Hornsby: Wowzer! Is this really for me?

He gave me a simple kettle to thank me. I wanted to empty it over his head. 😛

My recent dream visitors have been Roy from A-World and Kaleb from Oak Hill. Thanks for stopping by, and Never Stop Crossing! 🙂

Claudia the Bitterling Boss

Last week, I played a game of hide-and-seek with Hornsby, Rolf, and Aurora. Rolf foolishly thought he could get away with hiding behind the Sphinx’s paw.

I ultimately won the game, and Hornsby gave me a red tile wall as my prize.

On Tuesday, Agent S asked me to make a delivery to Aurora. I took the item over, and Aurora rewarded me with her picture! Even though I already had one (or several), it’s a nice gesture. Lolly could sure learn a lesson from Aurora. 😉

Aurora: It's Aurora's pic!

The fishing tournament was held today, and I played too late to participate. But I attended the winners’ ceremony, and I saw Claudia win first place with a 3.45 inch bitterling. This must have been the bitterling-only tournament…or else everyone is just awful at fishing. 😛

Chip, announcing the winner: Claudia!

At Club LOL, I asked K.K. for a sad song. He played Comrade K.K. for me, Velma, and Hippeux.

K.K.: Here's a jam that makes the blues seem like old news... Comrade K.K.

My recent dream visitors have been Eel from Area 51, Mark from Seaside, and Kingston from Cupcake. Thanks for stopping by!

Trough ‘n’ Scoff

Vivian was talking about reading Monday night…and about how she thinks she’s the coolest. 😛

Vivian: Are you sure you don't secretly like reading? It's OK, you know. I think reading's cool, and I'm the coolest.

Yesterday, Jack appeared to tell me to start saving candy (and masks) for Halloween. He also gave me a werewolf hood.

Jack: Hee hee hee! I am the mighty czar of Halloween, J

Today was Big Top’s birthday, so I made sure to attend his party. For his present, I gave him a watering trough that I bought at Re-Tail. He didn’t exactly seem thrilled with it.

Big Top: A watering trough?! Whoa! I did NOT expect this.
He scoffed at my trough.

Despite the gift, he still seemed to be in a good mood. Vivian thought so too.

Vivian: I howled, Big Top seems really happy!

Up on Main Street, a new deposit kicked my bank account balance up to 115 million bells.

Your current balance is 115,000,000 bells.

For some reason, a lot of animals were in the central part of Main Street, near the entrance to the Happy Homes Showcase.

My recent dream visitors have been Kyle from Ethicals and Paloma from Mametown. Claudia also mentioned someone named Kelly, who was a hometown hero. But she didn’t say what town Kelly was from. Regardless, thank you all for stopping by! Any time your character needs a new hairstyle, remember to check out the hair guide here on JVGS!
