Bones recently asked me to fetch Aurora for him, and I agreed to help. I tracked Aurora down, and we both headed to Bones’ house.

Bones bought a blue tie-dye tank, and he wanted to give it to Aurora since he heard that she was looking for one. Aurora was thrilled to have it, and Bones gave me an astro lamp. I’m not sure why he didn’t just ask me to deliver the shirt to Aurora, but oh well. 😛

The final fireworks festival of the year was held last Sunday, and I attended the event. Isabelle gave me a flower bopper to wear.

On Tuesday night, Rolf asked me about the sabertooth skull I had on me. Uh-oh, did he think I was out hunting tigers or something?

But it turns out, he just wanted one for himself. He offered me 3,000 bells for it, and I accepted. Note: I also recently saved him from moving out, so he will still be a Forest resident for the foreseeable future.

On Wednesday, I met the camper, Lolly. Lolly!

Lolly is the ultimate camper! She’s my favorite villager, and it’s rare that I’ve had her in any of my towns. Only in City Folk once, for just a couple months or so, and that was years ago. So I kept playing her camper games until she agreed to move in. YES!

Yesterday, Molly asked me to bury a time capsule for her. I buried it in the usual spot.

Rolf then told me that he recently stuck his head through the face-cutout standee.

He said Boots caught him doing it, and Rolf felt embarrassed. But it just reminded me of this picture I took in 2016.

Today, Lolly arrived in town! She lives next door to Booker.

So of course, I quickly went inside to see her again. It’s so good to finally have Lolly in one of my towns again. 😀

I saw on the bulletin board that Bones won the Bug-Off competition this past weekend. But he only won by one point! Wow, close match. I did not participate in the event myself.

On Sunday, I finally ran into Bones. He was complaining about not seeing me lately! Dude, I’ve been around, but you never are!

On Monday, Aurora asked me to dig up her time capsule.

So I dug it up and took it back to her. There was a pink wave tank inside, and Aurora said it was a favorite of hers. She seemed really happy to have it back.

But to my surprise, she gave me the pink wave tank as my reward! She should have kept it for herself, because I sure wasn’t going to use it.

Today (August 22nd) is Rolf’s birthday. I attended his party and gave him a claw-foot tub as his birthday present. He didn’t seem to enjoy it very much, but he was still glad that I came to his party.

Boots was also at the party, and seeing his friend Rolf happy made him feel happy as well.

Outside, I ran into Bones. Wow, twice in one week? It’s a miracle! 😛 Anyway, he told me that Rolf is thinking about moving out of town! I can’t save Rolf from moving when he’s in party mode, but I’ll have to save him one day soon.

I’ve had a few campers at the campsite lately, but none that I’ve wanted to invite into town. Not when I get animals like Jambette’s little sister here.

Boots asked me for some fruit, so I gave him a perfect orange. He loved it, and he rewarded me with a nine lamp. What a reversal…it used to be me giving him number lamps!

Yesterday, Boots asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek. He gave me ten minutes to find him, Agent S, and Boots. I found Agent S almost immediately, and she was not happy about it.

Before a minute had gone off the timer, I also found Boots near the campsite.

And less than a minute after that, I found Hornsby! His horn gave him away.

I won the game in under two minutes, which is one of the best games I’ve had. I wondered if I would get a better prize for winning so fast, but Hornsby just gave me a common bed. Booooringgggg.

Today, Big Top asked me to catch a shark for him. I’m not going to do it, but I let him think I might. He told me to go work my magic, up his nose. Uh, no thanks.

I wanted to speak with Bones, but not surprisingly, he was out on a snack run.

I’ve been playing earlier in the day this week (and even in the daylight hours some days) specifically because I was trying to find Bones. And virtually every day, he’s out on a snack run and he’s nowhere in town! Where does he go? It’s frustrating, because I’m trying to get his picture, yet I can never even track him down to speak to him!

I try using the megaphone, but he never responds. Either Agent S responds, Kapp’n responds, or it says he’s not around. Day after day after day. I’m starting to dislike him just for never being around. He seems to be avoiding me, and it’s really annoying. I could understand if it was just once in a while, but this happens more often than not.

He’s probably in a building on Main Street somewhere, but it can take forever to track someone down…especially with all those rooms in the museum. Besides, even if he is on Main Street, he would just talk about being on Main Street. You can’t have normal conversations when they’re up there. Okay, I’m done ranting now. 😛 Sorry about that.
