Vivian’s Fleas

Big Top recently became my latest villager to put together a time capsule. He asked me to bury it for him, and I agreed to help out.

Big Top: I just put together a time capsule with my most prized possession inside. Now I just have to bury it!

Bones asked me to visit his house, and I jumped at the chance. But I had to lead the way, since he didn’t know the way home (even though his house is right next to the event plaza where we already were). 😛

Bones: I don't really know how to get home from here, ice cube.

We hung out for a while, and I played on his computer.

Vivian asked me for some furniture to replace her flea.

Vivian: It's my flea. I want to replace it.

Interestingly enough, she had a flea on her as she asked me! I caught it.

I caught a flea! Oh no, now I'm itchy!

I tried giving her the flea to replace her other flea, but she wouldn’t accept it. 😛 So I caught a mosquito and gave her that instead. She said she wants the mosquito to have a good view of me when I visit!

Vivian: After all, I'll want my new roomie to have a great view of YOU every time you come and visit.
Maybe I won’t visit. Your house bites.

She rewarded me with a baby bed.

Tonight, I checked out K.K. Slider’s Saturday night musical performance. I asked for a random song, and he played K.K. Mambo for me. Peck and Julian were also in the club to enjoy the show.

Bones: So the other night, Codger from Fishlegs showed up in my dream!

Agent S Day

Today is the birthday of Agent S. I made sure to attend her birthday party, and she seemed to be having a good time.

Agent S: Birthdays are so, like, WOW!! I mean, just look at all the fun we're having. Totally WOW!!

For her birthday present, I gave her an ironing set that I bought at Re-Tail. She initially called it an “interesting” choice, but she later called it one of her top ten best gifts ever.

Agent S: Thanks for the super-awesome gift too. It just made the list of my top 10 best gifts ever!

Hornsby was also at the party, helping Agent S feel like a special Agent.

Hornsby: Today you and I are gonna show Agent S the best time she's ever had, shnozzle!

Agent S said that July 2nd should be called Agent S Day. As mayor, I approve this message. 😛

Agent S: I think July 2nd should now be known as Agent S Day!

It was raining outside, and Bones seemed to be having a lot of fun with his umbrella. He kept going on about how versatile they are.

Bones: You can use it to stay dry on rainy days. Or you can just twirl it around and look jaunty!

Not much else was going on in town tonight. But I happened to be playing around in Animal Crossing Plaza today, and I saw Agent S mentioning her birthday there as well. So I made a GIF of it. Happy birthday, Agent S!

Agent S: YAY! Today is the best day ever! Wanna know why? Because it's my birthday, sidekick!

Aurora’s Salad Memory

Aurora recently told me of a nice memory she had. Her mom made salads with fresh tomatoes from their garden. I don’t know why that seems so cute, but it just does. 😛 Maybe because we don’t think of villagers as once being kids. I bet Aurora was a cute baby penguin!

On Thursday, there was an animal camping at the campsite. Unfortunately, it was Gloria the ugly duckling. I wouldn’t invite her to move in if she was the last duck on Earth.

Gloria, at the campsite: Hey, are you from around here?

Rolf then asked me to dig up his time capsule.

Rolf: Do you remember that time capsule I had you bury a while ago?

It had a shearling coat inside, and that’s what Rolf gave me for my trouble. How exciting.

Rolf: I'll give this to you as a thank-you. So here ya go--one recently dug gift: a shearling coat!
I should re-bury it. In the dump.

Last night, Bones was sitting on the yellow bench. He asked me to join him, so I did. At least for a moment.

Bones: Come chill out on this bench with me, skippy!

Today, I re-visited the dream town of Highway (dream address 1C00-0028-2D9F). It’s the town with the city streets, crosswalks, etc. At first I thought that the gas station was gone, because it wasn’t where it once was. But then I found it across the river. Apparently a villager moved into the spot where it had been, so the mayor had to move it.

Back in Forest, I spotted Pete the mailbird. I sure don’t run into him very much!

Pete: Wow, this mailbag is HEAVY! Haven't these people ever heard of a phone conversation?

Tonight is the last night of fireflies. Even though they’re not valuable or anything, I enjoy seeing them each June.
