Since last time, I’ve received my black anchor tee (from Inkwell’s RV) in the mail. It plays a bit of guitar music (the Splatoon theme) when you put it on. I like it…even if it is a cold thing to wear in winter. 😛

Agent S paid me an unexpected visit one night. She brought me a gift…a bamboo shoot. Or is that some bamboo shoot? 😛

She hopes that I love it…if she dies.

Last Saturday, Bob asked me to catch a pill bug for him. I found one on just the 2nd rock I banged, so I took it to him. He rewarded me with a noble shirt.

I’m really enjoying his “daddy” catchphrase I gave him. 😛 It’s a catchphrase I first gave him in ACCF back in 2011. But I think it’s funnier now than it was back in 2011. 😛

While I was talking to him, he mentioned that Rolf has ticklish feet. The interesting part was that Rolf walked by right us as he said it!

After putting some money into the bank, my balance reached 105 million bells.

I still had a party popper in my pockets, so I fired it off into the train station today. Ignore that item on the ground; it’s a zodiac dog I’m holding for Merka.

Agent S told me she wanted to move out on January 20th, but I made her change her mind.

My recent dream visitors have been Malice from Lavender, Yuné from Kasama, Bella from Cool Bay, Cass from Kasey, Sage from Enville, Rosa from Bruchtal, and Goomba from Blue Sky.

Today is New Year’s Day, so Happy New Year, everyone! Isabelle was standing at the event plaza to celebrate the occasion. She was talking about her doggie nature, because 2018 is the year of the dog in the Chinese zodiac.

I also stuck my head into the fireworks. …Standee. Sorry, I should have finished that thought.

Isabelle gave me the zodiac dog, and I took it home to take a look at it. Hey, it’s potty trained!

Today is Bob’s birthday, so I made sure to visit him to help him celebrate.

For his birthday present, I gave him a Mouth of Truth. 😛

Rolf was also there at the party, and I think they had a good time.

One of my Christmas presents (see my Christmas haul) was a 3-pack of Splatoon Amiibos. I scanned the squid Amiibo, and Inkwell the octopus visited the drive-in campground. Inkwell’s RV is splattered in ink and covered with Splatoon brand logos.

Inside, you can find a bunch of items from Splatoon. This includes the ink-splattered wall, ink-splattered floor, black anchor tee, pilot goggles, Splatoon spawn point, Splatoon tower, Splattershot, squid bumper, studio headphones, Super Sea Snail, and Takoroka mesh (cap). I ordered the black anchor tee, since I often wear an anchor tee in Splatoon (even though the one I normally wear is white).

As for Inkwell, I may invite him to move in at some point in the future…just not now. I already have three Amiibo villagers in Forest, and I’ll probably wait until one of them moves out (even though I don’t want them to move just yet). But I’m willing to wait. I’m not going anywhere.

My recent dream visitors have been Suna from Galifrey, Erica from New York, Mayounna from Amy Rose, Alex from Cacao, Dylan from Calmv, Ari from Martinez, Lauren from Woodfall, and Logan from New Leaf. My dream visitor count has topped 2,000 (since the Welcome Amiibo update in late 2016). Thank you all for visiting!

Today is Christmas Eve (Toy Day), and I was finally able to complete my Santa outfit. Outside, I spotted the northern lights for the first time this season. It’s definitely looking festive around town!

I found Jingle the black-nosed reindeer near the town tree. He gave me the Santa bag, which had all of my villagers’ Toy Day presents inside.

I then stopped to take this picture of Jingle, my town tree, the northern lights, and my modern clock.

I then started going around town to hand out everyone’s gifts. My first stop was Bob’s house.

It’s nice to see my villagers so happy when I give them a gift. 🙂

Boots’ gift was a lotus lamp, and of course he put it in the same spot where he always puts his lamps. 😛

Since I had all of my clues, I was able to successfully get everyone’s gifts correctly. Here’s the list of what each villager wanted and what I gave them.

• Agent S: gray lamp – mini lamp
• Aurora: aqua umbrella – blue dot parasol
• Big Top: black doll – lucky black cat
• Bob: beige musical instrument – timpano drum
• Boots: a pink lamp – lotus lamp

• Vivian: pink doll – wobbelina

So I returned to Jingle and told him I was done. He thanked me for the help, and he then gave me a festive wreath for my help.
