On August 5th, TZ gave birth to a baby girl named Ashley. She is the 50th baby born on the island.
She was a cute baby...but it didn't last.
Bert told me that he adores nice people. The surprising part? He said he wishes he was one of them! :D
By August 11th, Ashley was all grown up. I decided to let her travel the world.
Annyong asked for a disposable camera, so I gave him one. He took this picture of Darth Vader about to fall into the fountain, and he titled it "As Expected."
Uh-oh, someone's going to get force choked for this.
I gave Marina some soda, and she melted into a pile of gray goo. It was her worst-ever food.
Or maybe she's just hiding in gray ink.
Madison asked out Kevin Love, and he said yes. They are now sweethearts.
But they weren't the only new couple in town. Mario asked out...wait for it...Peach! She responded by saying that Mario's sweetheart was in another castle. Just kidding; she said yes!
Stella celebrated her birthday on August 18th. She was joined by her mother Breezy, her father Gaston, her husband Villager, and her best friend Velma.
Hailey told me that she and Xavier have been thinking about having a piglet baby, and I told them to go for it. On August 27th, baby Jayden was born.
What a... uh... cute... baby... *oink oink*
Mr. Bean made a funny face for me, and it totally didn't make him look even weirder than he already is. Not at all. Nope, nope, nope.
Bert asked out Velma in the cafe. But before she could answer, Bomberman and Batman also professed their love for Velma. Wow, all the guys with "B" names like her for some reason. But my favorite part of this picture is Bert's frown. It makes him look more like the real Bert than ever!
But Velma briskly, and bluntly, burned all the B boys. Buh-bye.
Velma is still dating Weird Al, after all.
Regarding the birthday cake situation, I never found a way to force the cake to arrive. I'm guessing it won't give me one in 2018 since I missed my chance (just a guess), so I changed my Mii's birthday to January 1st. Now hopefully he will finally get a cake then, so I won't have to wait until next July or August.
While at Cedar Point this past week, I got a StreetPass hit from a Tomodachi Life player (from Michigan). As a result, a camper named Baggette from Cool Island arrived at the campground.
He was feeling a bit down and seemed kneady, but I buttered him up and got his spirits to rise. He sold me some baklava for two play coins. That was a new one for me, so I added it to my collection list.

As of yesterday (September 1st), Jayden was all grown up. As tempting as it may be to have this lovely face around town, I decided to let him travel the world.
I know some of you have been asking me to add someone new to the island, and I will. I promise the next entry will include a new islander (or possibly two if I get lucky with a baby I want to keep).
There are still seven married couples on the island, and my Quality of Life rating is 182 stars.
