Entry 136: SpongeBob Arrives!

Surprise! It's time for another entry!

In July, I noticed that there were only four houses in the "Mii Homes" area. That meant that someone got divorced, for the first time in several years!

Four homes for four married couples in the Mii Homes area.
I soon discovered that it was Mr. Bean and Maeby that got divorced. But when I visited each of them, neither of them mentioned the breakup. Mr. Bean was just surprised to see me after so long, and Maeby was more concerned about a fight she had with Weird Al.

Maeby: I had a fight with Weird Al. I'm so upset!

But the next day, Mr. Bean was in a much worse mood himself.

Mr. Bean, in flames: I'm not in the best mood today...
He was upset about a fight he had with Yukon. Maybe Mr. Bean and Maeby aren't addressing the divorce, but they seem to be taking out their anger on other people.

There also seems to be some trouble brewing in the Mario universe galaxy, as Rosalina told me she had a fight with Mario.

Rosalina: I had a fight with Mario. I'm so upset!!
But Mario still wasn't over it, so there's still no peace in the Mushroom Kingdom.

Mario: I'm still not over it.
Mario's looking old! Maybe he needs a power-up.
Bert professed his love for the newly-single Maeby, but he wasn't alone. Alien and Darth Vader also felt the same way.

Darth Vader: I love you the most!
Maeby, maybe not.
However, Maeby wasn't interested in any of them. She turned them all down. (Trivia: Alien and Maeby were once married, back in entry 37.)

On the Mii News last week, some islanders were doing tai chi in the streets. That included both Mario brothers, Lindsay, and Villager.

Mii News: Everyone Does Tai Chi
Villager was helping them build a bridge to peace.

Over at the park, Zoidberg asked out Lindsay. She said yes, so they are now sweethearts!

Zoidberg, to Lindsay: We're such good friends, but I think we'd make an even better couple.
One is selfish, and the other is a shellfish.

This week, I decided to add a new islander! He lives in a pineapple under the sea, but now he also lives on Wolf Bobs Island. Welcome SpongeBob SquarePants!

Mii Personality: Extremely quirky.
I used a Mii that someone sent me back in the Wii days! But some of you have seen the Mii before in some of my Wii Fit videos, such as Wii Fit U FAILS.

I've also added a QR code for him to the QR Codes page, so you can add him to your islands too, if you'd like!

The name's Sponge Bob. People often look to me for inspiration.
I promptly gave him a Krabby Patty (in the forms of a veggie burger and a cheeseburger), and I've also given him some lemonade, an ice cream cone, and some sushi. However, I haven't yet found any of his special reaction foods. I'll keep trying, probably with any seafood options I can find. Any other relevant foods I should try?

Anyway, I did make him feel at home in one way: I gave him the seabed interior.

SpongeBob: Thanks for the great new interior. I like it a lot!

Madeline wanted to set up Annyong and Ann, so they went out on a date. It went really well, and they are sweethearts now!

Madeline winks at the camera as Annyong and Ann hang out at the fountain.

Madeline couldn't resist gloating about that one. When it comes to setting people up, you can count on her.

There are now four married couples on my island, and my Quality of Life rating is up to 234 stars. At some point, I'll be back again with another entry. But as a reminder, new entries will be infrequent. If you want to see more, please let me know by leaving a comment below! Also, feel free to share what's going on in your game!
