Organizing My Storage Space

This morning, Reese was offering 154 bells per turnip. I’m starting to be able to recognize some of the patterns, and this week seemed like it could be a big spike week. But it’s still kind of risky to turn down a price of 150+ this late in the week. So I compromised and sold 400 of my 1,000 turnips for a total of 61,600 bells.

In the afternoon, I saw that prices spiked up to 405 bells! Naturally, I jumped at the opportunity and sold the remainder of my turnips for an additional 243,000 bells.

Reese: Well then...I could probably part with 243,000 bells for all of it, if that sounds OK with you?Octavian asked me for a cherry today, and I gave him one of two perfect cherries I had left over from Wendy’s original town of Oakville. Octavian loved it!

Octavian: ...Yum! This is MAD tasty! In return, he gave me his outdoor bath. I wonder how he would be able to do any yardwork without an outdoor bath to re-moisten himself every once in a while. Won’t he dry out?

Octavian: So then, as thanks, please take my outdoor bath!Wendy asked to come over to shop, so I opened my gate. Tom also stopped by for a visit, dressed as a royal jester. While in the Emporium, I bought some medicine since I figured Kidd was probably still sick.

Tommy: Thank you kindly for your purchase!Over in the Able Sisters, Tom was…actually, I have no idea what he was trying to do. That’s probably not the best look for him.

Tom's odd outfit. When I returned from Main Street, I continued my walk around town to water my flowers. Tom suddenly said he messed up, although I didn’t know what he was talking about. I was afraid he accidentally killed a flower or something, but it turns out he just glitched himself somewhere where he got stuck. But he freed himself after a minute or so anyway. But for making me think he might’ve killed a flower, I still made him get into the guillotine. Off with his head!

Jeff: Stick your head in.Tom left a bit later (he was still alive), and after I finished watering flowers, Wendy and I went out to the island. The gift shop didn’t have anything good for sale, but we went on a hide-and-seek tour. Wendy quickly found the first two villagers, and then I found one. A bit later, I found Camofrog trying to hide (unsuccessfully) behind a modern clock.

Camofrog's poor attempt at hiding.I spoke with him, and that ended the tour. After that, we returned to Forest and I ended the session. I went up to Main Street again to update my dream town.  It was actually in the daylight hours for a change, so if you want to see Forest in the light of day, be sure to give my dream town a visit before Saturday evening. My dream address is 4300-2003-9889. By the way, Luna told me my most recent dream visitor was Maheen from Hyrule.

Agent S asked me for some furniture, and I gave her a fossil I had in my pockets. She thanked me and rewarded me with her picture. It wasn’t my first time getting her picture, but I still appreciate it.

Agent S: It's Agent S's pic! Thanks so much! Also, with the gate closed, I was able to go into Kidd’s house. So I gave him the medicine I purchased earlier.

Kidd takes his medicine. And down on the beach, Gulliver was talking about mermaids. That means he’ll be going to Denmark tomorrow.

Gulliver: Oooooo! The seaside, with its many lovely mermaids...When I returned to my house, I decided to do something that I’ve wanted to do for a long time: Reorganize my storage. But of course, Molly just had to come over for a visit.

Molly barges in for an unexpected visit.I didn’t even go over to talk to her. I just stood where I was until she left. She thanked me for being such a lovely host, which surely must’ve been sarcastic.

Molly: All right, I think I'll be going now. Thank you for being such a lovely host.I worked on organizing my stuff for quite a while. That included moving stuff around and selling some items that could be ordered again. This is the end result of how I currently have it organized:

A1: Masks/hats, Nintendo items

I previously only had one free page, which I used to store the turnips I bought each week. I now have three free pages, which will allow me to buy 3,000 turnips instead of just 1,000. This should help me to get that gold turnip badge sooner.

My storage. As a reminder, tomorrow is the Bug-Off and Sunday is the fireworks festival. I’ll be opening my gate around 8 p.m. on Sunday. See you next time!
