Windsocks

After starting up the game today, I soon noticed the windsocks that are flying overhead this time of year. I stopped for a minute to watch them blow in the wind.

Windsocks in Animal Crossing (GameCube).I then went around town pulling weeds and digging up fossils. I saw the daily glowing spot, and dug up the money. A volleyball was nearby, so I kicked it into the hole.

A glowing volleyball.I ran into Genji, and he told me that my name reminds him of food. He said it was because he just got a peach from Kody; he then gave it to me for free. That was nice.

Genji: Oh, I know what made me think of that!I then went to the post office to deposit some money and to mail a fossil away to the Farway Museum. I actually had three fossils, but I only had one piece of paper and there wasn’t any in the dump.

Going into the post office.Unfortunately, there weren’t any animals in either of the stone bridge acres this time. I wanted to do the bridge glitch again, but it will have to wait until next time.

Glitch – Pushing Animals off Bridges!

I started up my game today and got a goodbye letter from Twirp. He mentioned how much it hurts for him to leave. Yeah right, he only lived here for two weeks. Plus, he threatened me last week, Mr. Burns style. Oh well. So long, Twirp.

Twirp's goodbye letter.I noticed that Candi was near a bridge. I recently saw a Youtube video (that has since been removed) about a glitch that lets you push an animal off of a stone bridge into the river below. So thanks to former Youtube user “36780s” for making the video and to my friend Yann for sending me the link. When a villager is on the stone bridge, you hit them with a net, then push them off the bridge. That’s it! Here’s my video that shows how to do it.

Needless to say, Candi wasn’t very happy about it. But she was actually just mad about being hit with the net. She failed to notice that she was in the river somehow.

*NOTE: Just to be clear, this is a glitch. No hacks. No GameShark. No codes. 100% legit.

Candi: I bet you go around hitting people all the time!In Nookington’s, I decided to replace my tablecloth shirt with a BB shirt.

Tommy: It's quite a bargain! Would you like to purchase it today? And Puck was telling me about how he was chasing butterflies.

Puck: I just love the way they flutter around. Up and down... Up and down...I later saw Hank over by the wishing well and he tried to guess my favorite color.

Hank: Ah... You look like you'd be a total...tangerine?And over by the police station, Ursala reminded me why I hate her. I wish she was standing on a stone bridge.

Ursala: Of course, you don't have the same level of sophistication as me.And Robin was being just as friendly.

Robin: So where's my souvenir? You cheapskate! Before returning home, I made one last stop to meet my newest neighbor. It’s Wart Jr.

Wart Jr.: It's a pleasure meeting you!

Stormy Day, Bitter Animals

I started up my game today and there was a thunderstorm to deal with. I started walking around town, and I ran into a peeved Static. What crawled up his shorts today?

Static: DON'T SCREAM IN MY EAR, IDIOT!I also saw Belle, who told me to build a library in Forest. She didn’t care if I had to sell my house to do it. What a friend.

Belle: I don't care if you have to sell your house, but build me a library!I made my way around to Hank’s house, and he was one of the few animals to be in a good mood. He says the rain doesn’t bother him at all.

Hank: Shrug it off like water off a duck's back!Meanwhile, Twirp has apparently turned into Mr. Burns from The Simpsons.

Twirp: Go away! Don't make me release the hounds on you!And Tortimer was at the wishing well to commemorate Nature Day (Earth Day).

Tortimer: When you grow up, I hope you'll take care of the land, and of me...Meanwhile, Emerald was telling me I needed some carpet or wallpaper for my house. In fact, she would sell me one or the other for only 10,114 bells. Hmm, let me think about that…NO!

Emerald: I'll let you buy either one for 10,114 bells. After that, I decided to make a few trips back and forth to the island.

Kapp'n and I arriving at the island. On my first visit, Ankha asked me for a new catchphrase. I told her I still liked her current one, “in my tomb,” so she agreed to keep it.

Ankha: I'll keep wowing everyone with this catchphrase, in my tomb. And of course, Kapp’s sings his songs on the boat rides. He also makes some crude comments.

Kapp'n: Me little grubber... Always keep yerself clean, if ye know what I mean.On one of my return trips, there were two fish right next to each other by the dock. This was nowhere near an acre boundary, so I was a bit surprised to see this.

Two fish swimming side-by-side.After I was done boating (and feeling a little seasick), I returned home.
