A Relaxing Sunday

It was a nice, clear day in Forest. I got a few fossils back in the mail, but I didn’t quite have enough inventory slots free. So I decided to walk around with my pinwheel.

Holding my pinwheel.I talked to Hank, and he told me that in June, there will be a fishing tournament every Sunday. Even though the winner gets a prize, he said he only cares about winning.

Hank: All I want is to win! Win! Win! Win!For some reason, three of my villagers were talking about the “living fossil” fish today. Maybe they just watched a TV special about the coelacanth or something.

Ursala: Someone at the beach told me they found a living fossil. Not a lot was going on today. I just pulled some weeds, dug up some fossils and gyroids, and made my usual stop at the post office. As I deposited my money, my balance topped 16.5 million bells.

Pelly: Your balance is 16,503,727 bells. After that, I returned home.

Gracie & Kabuki

I started up the game today and received a letter in the mail from Wart Jr.  He has moved out of town.

Wart Jr.'s goodbye letter. On my way to Nook’s, I always bypass Cindi’s house to cross the bridge in that acre. Fortunately, Cindi was outside today, so I used the bridge glitch to push her into the river. She was looking at a fish in the river, so I got my fishing rod out and caught it. She applauded my catch.

Candi applauds my catch while standing in the river.Since she seemed to want that fish so bad, I then gave it to her by releasing it on her. But she didn’t seem to notice. I then tried to fish Candi out of river, but she wouldn’t bite.

Fishing for Candi. After stopping at Nook’s to sell some stuff, I continued my walk around town. There were quite a few weeds that I picked up along the way. I soon spotted a red sports car; Gracie was in town!

Gracie: Look at you! Love your bod, babe! It's to die for!
I’m more than just a hot body and huge head, you know.

I washed her car for her and she gave me a butterfly shirt.

Gracie: Oh, it's spotless! Nice job, darling.Ursala was over by a pond, so I thought I’d try out the river glitch with a pond. Unfortunately, it didn’t work, and she was a bit upset with me for hitting over the head with a net.

Ursala: You filthy ogre! I hope you get stung by a thousand bees!A bit later, I saw a new house. I went over and introduced myself to my new villager, Kabuki.

Meeting Kabuki.I then finished pulling weeds, mailed some fossils away, and returned home. See you next time!

Windsocks

After starting up the game today, I soon noticed the windsocks that are flying overhead this time of year. I stopped for a minute to watch them blow in the wind.

Windsocks in Animal Crossing (GameCube).I then went around town pulling weeds and digging up fossils. I saw the daily glowing spot, and dug up the money. A volleyball was nearby, so I kicked it into the hole.

A glowing volleyball.I ran into Genji, and he told me that my name reminds him of food. He said it was because he just got a peach from Kody; he then gave it to me for free. That was nice.

Genji: Oh, I know what made me think of that!I then went to the post office to deposit some money and to mail a fossil away to the Farway Museum. I actually had three fossils, but I only had one piece of paper and there wasn’t any in the dump.

Going into the post office.Unfortunately, there weren’t any animals in either of the stone bridge acres this time. I wanted to do the bridge glitch again, but it will have to wait until next time.
