Today, I decided to change my town tune again. I went back to a tune I used in the GameCube game a lot, Saria’s Song from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
I talked to Ruby, and she said she wanted to move out. The little alien has grown on me, and I don’t want her to leave, so I told her to stay. She said she still wants to move out. I’ll have to keep talking to her to try to convince her to stay.
I found an empty lamp, which (in theory) means that Wisp should appear later that night. But it was already after 9:00 p.m., and he was nowhere to be found. I’ll have more on this at the end of the blog.
I opened my gate at 10:00. Mike, Phoebe, and Olivia quickly came in and I had a full house. After hanging out in my house, Scott’s house, and some animals’ houses, we had a good old-fashioned net fight.
Soon after, I took a brief mid-air nap. Actually, Phoebe pitfalled me.
Then we spun our umbrellas in the snow for a little bit.
And then things got a little violent.
I didn’t want Mike to feel left out, so I beheaded him as well.
And we all got shocked for some reason.
Phoebe started singing showtunes, and Olivia and I tried to escape to save our virtual eardrums.
I had no choice but to end the party. It was nearly 12:15 by then, so I had over two solid hours with a full house. It was kind of nice to not have everybody clear out after an hour like it used to.
After everyone was gone, I took another look for Wisp. I did not see him anywhere, and I think I know why: Katie is in town. When the Wi-Fi characters (Katie, Kaitlin, Blanca) are in town, they prevent other characters from being there, even if it’s their day. Now if the gate is open, they’ll disappear, but many of the other characters won’t show up if someone else is in town. Since my town had visitors the entire time my gate was open, I was unable to see if Wisp would be there in that situation, but I believe that’s why I didn’t see him. Oh well.
On my walk around town, I saw a happy cat and a sad cat:
Poppy asked me for a new catchphrase. I tried to teach her “poopy,” but the game wouldn’t let me. So I added an extra “o” and it worked fine.
I saw two snowballs near each other, so I made a snowman.
If you’ve been reading this blog for a long time, you may know that one of my long-term goals is to line all my paths with gold roses that I bred myself. My collection has been growing lately, so I replaced the red roses leading to my museum with gold roses. I still have a bunch of other gold roses in certain areas of town, but I still have a long way to go.
She sent me a chocolate heart! I don’t recall ever getting one of these before.
I also went to The Roost to enjoy a hot cup of
It snowed earlier in the day, so I didn’t have to water my flowers. I shot down a balloon present and got a cabin dresser.
Kid Cat was telling me about the weird sounds that come from his body.
