It was raining again today in Forest. I didn’t have to water my flowers, but I did talk to my animals. Egbert asked me for some nice, clean clothes.

I was actually wearing a pattern, not a shirt. But he lives near the Able Sisters, so I went there and bought him a “U R here” shirt. He complained that it wasn’t subtle enough. He didn’t say it had to be subtle!

I wasn’t about to buy him another shirt, so he can stand there in his own filth for all I care. 😛

Then I talked to Rowan, who said I wasn’t snackworthy. Considering he’s a tiger, that’s probably a good thing.

I talked to Mint, and she seemingly remembers the day we all took over her house! Maybe these animals are smarter than we realize!

Today, there was no Pete and no other visitors. That indicated it would be a UFO day. The UFO will only come in the first ten minutes of an hour. So I checked at the 7:00 hour, no luck. I tried again at 8:00, still no luck. I didn’t check at 9:00, but then finally at 10:07 (right before I was about to give up), it finally appeared. Thanks to my pre-marked spots, I was able to shoot it down despite the cloudy sky.

It was my first UFO since March 13th (over a month ago). It’s my 7th UFO of 2012 and my 17th overall. I’m still hoping to get a Metroid…will the 17th try be the charm? Anyway, I went on and recovered the spaceship part. I’ll give that to Gulliver tomorrow.

Before ending my game, I talked to Egbert one last time. He asked me for a new greeting. He’s a rooster, so I thought I would make give him a rooster-appropriate greeting. Not so fast.

Wow. No problem though, I just changed the first “o” to an “o” with an accent over it. Problem solved.

I got two letters in the mail today. One was a letter from Drift, in Tropical. He told me I should visit him again sometime. The funny thing is, he moved out of Tropical today, so I couldn’t visit him if I wanted to. The other letter was from Katie, thanking me for reuniting her with her mom in Tropical yesterday.

I don’t know why she signs the letter as “the Lost Girl.” Doesn’t she know her name is Katie? And she says she got me a present with her allowance. Well this is the present she sent me. It’s a portrait.

Now I don’t know where Katie does her shopping, but if she paid money for that, she got ripped off.

Anyway, I then made my way around town. It was raining today, so I didn’t need to water my flowers. I talked to Bob, and he asked for a new greeting.

I also saw Pete on the peninsula by the windmill. Exactly who was he delivering mail to?

I was almost done playing when Del asked me to make a delivery. He had me take a biwa lute to Alice.

I returned to Del and he thanked me by giving me a kitschy wall.

While watering my flowers today, I saw Katie, the lost kitten. Her mom Kaitlin was in Yann’s town Tropical, so I later arranged a meeting with Yann to reunite the two cats.

I had her follow me to the gate and I went to Tropical.

I also dropped off a blue wall that I had ordered for Yann. She put it up in her house and I took a look. I like her blue room.

Yann also has Victoria in her town, and I talked to her.

I also met her mousy neighbor Bettina.

Then, I raided Bettina’s fridge.

And I said hi to my old friend Rolf.

And I also said goodbye to Drift, who is moving out of Tropical. I wouldn’t mind having him in Forest…
