Tonight, I opened my gate at 10:00 for Friday Night Forest. Yann, Phoebe, and Megan quickly filled up my town. We went in the Able Sisters, and Megan tried on a geisha wig.
I showed them my newest emotion, distress, which I got on Monday. I said it looked like I was doing the pee-pee dance.
Phoebe was acting like she worked there, so Megan called her Phable. The name stuck. After we left, Phable was still inside, so I buried a pitfall seed. Once she came out, she fell for it.
We went to Nook’s, and even though Phoebe didn’t pretend to work there, I started calling her Phook. She seemed to not be paying much attention. I think she was distracted by penguin feet.
We caught some bugs, including goliath beetles. Here we are, posing as with The Beetles.
But then we got disconnected and lost our beetles. I reopened my gate and the same three visitors came back. At one point in my house, Megan and Phoebe were spamming lots of keyboard text in time with the music playing in my house. Megan later declared it Spam Night.
Shortly before Nook closed his store, we did the door glitch again.
I later caught a coelacanth and here I posed with the sharks caught by Phoebe and Megan. Yann provided a nice silk hat for me.
Nature called and led us into Scott’s house. It was both the #1 and #2 spots in town tonight.
Everyone posted on my bulletin board. Megan quoted some Rhythm Heaven Fever.
Phoebe eventually left for the night, and I closed my gate a short while after that. It was a fun night.
I just don’t understand why it’s almost always the animals I like that want to move out. Why can’t Yuka ever ask me? I would love to tell her to get out. In fact, I’d pay for her bus ticket out of town! 😛
Once back in Forest, I went to Nook’s and sold some things. The total came out to 1,776 bells, which is appropriate considering Independence Day is next week. (The United States declared independence from Great Britain on July 4, 1776). In case you’re wondering, 1,776 bells is the amount Nook offers when you sell two gyroids and three regular (non-hybrid) flowers.
Saharah was in town today, looking for old wallpaper.
So I went around, asking all of my neighbors for some.
Along the way, I taught Del a new catchphrase. Del has a cranky personality, so I thought this catchphrase fits right in with that.
Del, Rowan, and Avery each gave me an old wallpaper. I took them to Saharah.
She then gave me a tree-lined wall. It was one I needed for my checklist, even though I don’t plan on keeping it.
