As I was finishing up watering my flowers today, I spotted Saharah.
She was looking for old carpeting. I dug some holes to trap her in place, so that I could find her again later. And then I started searching for all of my villagers to see if they had any old carpet for me. Caroline couldn’t help me, because she was locked out of her house. When I went in Avery’s house, he thanked me for the medicine I took him yesterday.
He gave me a mugho bonsai. I talked to him again to see if he had an old carpet, and he did! In fact, he was the only one of my villagers that had one for me. But fortunately, I had two old carpets in storage. So I grabbed them and ran back to Saharah. I gave her the three old carpets and she gave me a western desert.
Unfortunately, it’s not a carpet I needed for my catalog/checklist. But I decided to take a look at it anyway…
It’s awful! As much as I think the Gulliver items are ridiculously rare in this game, I’m starting to think the Saharah items are perhaps the hardest things to collect. I’ve had Animal Crossing: City Folk for four and a half years now, and I still need seven of Saharah’s wallpapers and eleven of her carpets!
So I went to Nook ‘n’ Go to pick up some medicine for him. He actually didn’t want to take it at first, but then he gave in.
I watered my flowers and found a new house while on my walk. I went inside to meet my new neighbor; it’s Ribbot!
This is my second frog in town (I also have Jeremiah). But Ribbot is a bit different… He’s a robot!
As for today, I opened my gate around 10:30 for Friday Night Forest. Wendy and Yann came over to visit. At one point, Yann (accidentally?) picked up a black rose and wouldn’t put it back. So I got my net out and beat her until she eventually put it back. 😀
A bit later, we were all standing at the top of the cliff, looking to the right (towards Nook’s). Rowan was also looking to the right for a while, but he stopped by the time I took this picture. Then he kept staring at Yann.
We were in my house later, listening to K.K. Faire and playing our tooting gyroids as if they were musical instruments. ♪ Beans, beans, the musical fruit… ♫
And while I was in my attic, Wendy started talking about eating my corpse. I don’t remember how we got on that topic, haha. YOLO: You’re only lunch once.
Later, in town hall, Phyllis wouldn’t let me into the back to the mayor’s office. I’m the mayor of Forest now (at least in
As the night wore on, we started (jokingly) swearing at each other, but without actually swearing.
I ended the party a little after 2:00. I had a good     ing time tonight. 😀
