I got a very pleasant surprise in the mail today. It was a goodbye letter…from Snake! I had no idea he was even considering moving out, but I’m quite happy about it! Ssssso long, sucka.
I then went to the city, where it was raining. I checked out Crazy Redd’s new items for the week. He had a turntable, a jolly painting, and a bromeliaceae. I wasn’t interested in buying any of those things.
The rain in the city meant I didn’t have to water my flowers today, and that is always a big relief. I then returned to the beach to look for Gulliver. I had to talk to him literally about 20 times before he would wake up.
But the wait was worth it, because he gave me yet another Metroid! I think this is the fifth one he’s given me!
And later on, at 9:02 p.m., Gulliver’s UFO flew by overhead; I shot it down. This is my second UFO of 2013, and my 26th overall.
The spaceship part fell over by Nook ‘n’ Go. I recovered it, and I’ll give it to Gulliver tomorrow in exchange for one of his rare items.
After a quick trip to the city, I went around to water my flowers. I saw Rowan along the way, and he asked me to get him a fossil.
I had one in my possession, but I was reluctant to give it to him. The rewards they give you are awful compared to the value of a fossil, so it’s not really worth it. But still, I ultimately decided to give it to him since he is one of the villagers I like. I wouldn’t have done it for Snake, that’s for sure. So I gave him the fossil and he gave me an old board floor in exchange.
I think I’d rather have the epic high-five.
