Yesterday, I saw Nate standing at the top of the cliff, staring blankly ahead. I don’t know if he was thinking about jumping or maybe he just couldn’t remember if he brushed his unibrow in the morning.

Later on, I went to Claire’s town to give her some of my extra hybrids.

And today, it was raining in Forest. I was glad to see it, as was Octavian.

Even though I’ve heard frogs don’t carry umbrellas in rain in New Leaf, they do in City Folk. Lily proved that much today.

Up near the museum, I ran into a K.K. Slider fanboy.

But despite the glowing review from Elmer, I didn’t go into the Roost to hear any music from K.K. tonight.

Tonight, Moe was talking about when he used live in 2007. Interestingly, he said it was a weird time, rather than a weird place. I still think he’s a time traveler.

There was a meteor shower tonight, so I stood outside of Nook ‘n’ Go and watched a few shooting stars go by.

And when I saw Ribbot from across the river, I waved hello to him. I was originally holding my watering can, but it kept pouring water instead of waving until I put my can away.

Unfortunately, I found no new black roses today. I’ll finish my town someday!

Yesterday, I saw a FalconHelm HDLC on sale at the Able Sisters. The HDLC means it’s hacked downloadable content; in this case, a hacked wrestler’s mask. It’s made to look like Captain Falcon’s helmet, of F-Zero fame.

I’ve had HDLC appear in Able Sisters before, including the Pikachu hat, Ash cap, and Dimentio mask. But this was the first time I’ve seen the FalconHelm HDLC. I’m sure it’s because I played with Tom recently. (HDLC is transmitted like a virus, but it’s not harmful in any way). Anyway, I bought the mask and put it on.

Then today, I made my usual walk around town. Melba told me she was going to spend the rest of the day writing short stories.

It was flea market day, so the animals who were home were able to sell items to me. However, Octavian made a big mistake by insulting his potential customer!

When I inquired about his raptor skull, he wouldn’t even consider selling it to me!

This store sucks. I’m outta here.
