For reasons unknown, Goose started talking to me today about how often he takes a bath. He said he used to always forget to take one!
As for his catchphrase uni-wow, you can just disregard that if you wish. I originally taught it to Nate (who has a green unibrow). I got the idea from Animal Crossing: New Leaf, where the squirrel named Hazel (who also has a unibrow) has “uni-wow” as her default catchphrase.
Anyway, I took the bus to the city tonight. Even though the city overall isn’t very useful, it does look pretty nice at night.
I asked Phineas for a bunny balloon, and he gave me a cyan one.
I returned to town, and I saw a ghost! Wisp was in town, looking for his lamp.
Usually when Wisp is in town, I find the lamp before I run into Wisp himself. But that was not the case today. I had to look around for the empty lamp, but fortunately it didn’t take too long. I found it up near the museum, and I took it back to my ghostly friend. He told me to rub the lamp in my attic, so I went home and did just that. Since St. Patrick’s Day is over, I figured I could use a new outfit to wear. So I asked him for clothing as my reward. Unfortunately, he gave me something I didn’t want: a heart shirt.
I think I’ll keep wearing my club shirt a little longer after all. Since my daily tasks were complete, I decided to save my game by using the attic bed (since I was there anyway). Have a good weekend, everyone!
Today, I went to the city to check out Crazy Redd’s new inventory for the week. He must have been expecting a bunch of children (or Bob) to shop there, because two of his three items were kiddie items (a bed and a bureau).
While I was in the city, I stopped in Shampoodle to get my hair back to normal. See you next year, Mohawk McClover!
Melba approached me and told me that our town might be filled with fossils. Really? So that explains the thousands of fossils I’ve dug up over the past 5+ years. Thanks for informing me.
I spotted a new house in town, which means Pompom’s replacement has already moved in. Forest’s newest resident is Friga the penguin.
A model of Nookington’s was also attached to the letter. This thing is actually bigger than I expected; it’s almost as big as me!
On the bulletin board, there was a message declaring Octavian the winner of yesterday’s fishing tournament. He caught the biggest fish, a 12-inch crucian carp. Isn’t that unfair to let an octopus win, though? He could just go under the water and then snatch the biggest fish!
I decided to look through the points catalog to see if there was anything I wanted to purchase. I’ve previously bought a Majora’s Mask, but that’s all I’ve ever bought. However, nothing really appealed to me. The kart is nice, but I actually think I already have one in storage that Ness gave me one time before (if I’m not mistaken). So I just hung onto my points for now.
Back outside, there was a balloon present flying overhead. So I got my slingshot out and shot it down. It contained a ? block.
I found two new black roses today as I completed my walk around town.
