Today, there was a message posted on the bulletin board stating that the cherry blossoms would be in bloom on April 1st. No foolin’!

Chip was outside of town hall, due to the fishing tournament being held today. However, I didn’t play early enough to participate.

As I went into Nook’s to get my daily shopping points, I passed a milestone: 20,000 shopping points. After 5 years and 4 months, I have finally become a platinum member!

Tom Nook actually didn’t congratulate me on becoming a platinum member. In fact, I only even saw this because I specifically checked my balance (because I knew I was getting close). But Nook’s prices should be slightly lower for me from now on, plus I should get a Nookington’s model in the mail tomorrow.

Back outside, I spoke with Goose the chicken, and he was talking about Emma from his previous town of Winkland. He said she was a big party girl.

After a fruitless bus ride to the city, I returned to town and went up to the Roost. It’s Saturday night, so I asked K.K. for a random song and he played K.K. Chorale for me.

After the song ended, I ran into Lily. She asked me to make a delivery to Nate, and she only gave me about 15 minutes to complete the task. Fortunately, Nate was at home, so I didn’t have to search for him. I gave him the present, and it turned out to be a green rug. To match his eyebrow.

I then returned to Lily, and she rewarded me by giving me a fancy carpet.

Just a very quick update today. Lily asked me how I liked the Tortimer shirt she was wearing.

She told it was designed by Wendell from Sumware, and she continued how she liked wearing foreign clothing. But why does foreign clothing have a picture of our mayor on it? Hmmm?

But my main reason for posting an entry today is to let you know that Pompom is going to be moving out of town. She asked me if she should leave, and I told her yes. I don’t know her moving date yet, but it will probably be within a few days.

Last night, Nate was telling me about a good book: How to Eat Spanakopita With Your Hands: Table Manners for Pigs. I hadn’t heard of that book before. Thanks for the info, Nate.

Then tonight, Goose told me to check out the sky.

There was a meteor shower up above, so I found a good place in Pac-Man Pond Park and watched the shooting stars go by.

I took a bus to the city, and I visited poor, lonely Lloid. The auction house has been basically useless since they shut down WiiConnect24 last year.

The only use it still has is access to the checkroom. So if you accidentally sell all your dressers or something, you can still go there to add or remove items from your storage.
