Tom invited me over to see his hacked town today. I don’t normally visit hacked towns, but Wi-Fi is ending soon, so I thought I might as well check one out. As soon as I arrived, I saw a lighthouse and windmill right near his gate.
His friend Valerie also came over to visit, and we were able to walk on the Able Sisters building. Unfortunately, I still couldn’t open that tiny upstairs window or meet the mice that must live there.
Tom saved the game to kill us all, but Valerie got caught in an endless death loop on top of Tom’s windmill, so Tom had to reset. After reopening his gate, Tom burned me with a Roman candle. I seemed to be enjoying it a bit too much in this picture.
He also dropped some sold-out signs on the ground. I wonder what Tom Nook displays when the sold-out signs are sold out?
And he used a pitfall trick to get me into the river.
It was an interesting visit. At one point, he was pooping out rare mushrooms and I was eating them. But before he left to go to bed, he had one last surprise for me. He told me to go into the “Trap” house, so I did. Once I went inside, two brick blocks prevented me from entering the room.
My character kept trying to move forward into the room, but I was unable to move at all. I couldn’t even use my USB keyboard to type. Tom then said goodnight and disconnected us.
Later on, I played in my own town; I went up to the museum to catch K.K.’s performance at The Roost. I let him pick the song, and he performed K.K. Tango for me.
I saw Moe walking around outside, and I went up to talk to him. His eyes are enormous and creepy. I don’t like him.
Octavian had asked me for a fossil, so I have him a raptor skull I had in my pocket. He happily accepted it and rewarded me with a manor wall.

We hung out in my house and in Elmer’s house for a while. Eventually, Michael also came over to visit.
We were talking about Bananas (my other ACCF town), and that turned into us talking about banana milkshakes somehow. I mentioned that Rally’s (the fast food place) has them, and Jake asked what Rally’s was. I told him it was the same thing as Checkers. Michael then asked if that was Checker Auto Parts, so I jokingly said yes, they do brakes and shakes.
Jake and Michael both took some of my free flowers, and I ate my chocolate heart that was leftover from Valentine’s Day.
We then all toured the rooms of my house and Scott’s house. The latter had some roaches in it. I finished off the last of the roaches as Jake and Michael were making their way through the obstacle course.
I ended the party around midnight. I’ll be opening my gate again on Friday, April 4th. But I’m planning on visiting Tom’s town tomorrow, so if everything goes as planned, you can expect another blog entry then. Have a good weekend, everyone!
Then today, I stopped in to say hello to Lily. She must’ve been burned out after Festivale, because she was glad to have a nice, lazy day in Forest.
On a side note, almost all of my villagers seem to be saying “eagle eye” now! I originally taught it to Avery the eagle, but he’s gone now, and everyone else is saying it when it doesn’t even apply to them!
It rained in the city today, so I didn’t need to water my flowers. But on my regular walk around town, something startled me: It was a UFO!
Unlike in my prime UFO hunting days of 2011 and 2012, this one really caught me by surprise and I wasn’t expecting it at all. My slingshot was attached to a letter, so I had no chance of shooting Gulliver down. But I suppose it’s nice just to see the UFO again, especially considering New Leaf doesn’t have anything like it.
