Moe-ving Out

When I went into Moe’s house tonight, I saw all his belongings packed up in boxes. He’s getting ready to move out of town. He compared his memories of Forest to ratty old stuffed animals. How dare him!

Moe: It's been a blast. I'll keep my memories of Forest forever, like ratty, old stuffed animals.I also went to visit Octavian, and he wasn’t very happy that I never brought him any “robo” stuff.

Octavian: What I would have looked like if you'd gotten me that robo thing I asked you for!Saturday is K.K. night of course, so I went down to the basement of the museum to hear one of his performances. I asked for a random song and he played K.K. Rock.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Rock. You know how Celeste has the observatory on the upstairs of the museum? As I exited the museum tonight, I happened to look up at the building…where exactly does she work??

The outside of the museum, which doesn't seem to have a second floor.I then galloped over to Elmer’s barn house to say hello. He asked me to catch a frog for him…because he wants to deep-fry it! Where’s Jambette when I need her?

Elmer: The thing is, I really need a frog to round out my chapter on deep-frying...

Something Robo

I went in to visit Octavian tonight, and he asked me for a favor. He wanted me to bring him something that looks robo.

Octavian: Oh, hey, if you see something that looks robo, would you snag it for me?And over by Able Sisters, there it was! I saw something robo!

Me using my net to try to catch Ribbot, the robotic frog villager.Unfortunately, I couldn’t catch it! It was Ribbot of course, and for some reason I couldn’t pick him up and put him in my pockets. I guess Octavian’s dream isn’t coming true tonight.

When I went to visit Kiki, she told me that she once tried to learn how to identify fossils from Blathers. But he refused to help her! He didn’t want to give away the secret, because he realized he would be useless! Kiki was not amused (as you can see by the look on her face).

Kiki: He said it was a trade secret, and he wouldn't tell me, for real.

Sinking In

The other night, I spoke with Melba and I was able to keep her from moving out.

Melba: What's wrong with me?! The answer is so obvious! I'm going to stay toasty! And I went to the gate to confirm what we knew was coming: Wi-Fi service has been discontinued. I guess it’s starting to sink in. It’s strange to think that nobody will ever visit my town again.

Copper: Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service for this software has been discontinued.Over by my waterfall, Ribbot offered to sell me his space suit!

Ribbot: Pssst. Mr. J. Wanna buy a space suit? And tonight, Moe told me he wanted to move out of town. I told him not to move, just because I didn’t want another big dirt patch when I’m planning on making a town tour video soon. But he said it’s out of his control; I’ll probably have to ask him again.

Moe: Yeah, I don't want me to leave either... It's kinda out of my control, though, I'm not Bob.Lily informed me that someone was standing on the bridge. Apparently, he made her uncomfortable.

Lily: I wasn't comfortable talking to him, so I just kind of acted like I didn't see him there, and I left.Of course that “someone” on the bridge was Pascal. But I didn’t have any scallops to give him this time. However, I still spoke with him to hear his words of wisdom…which weren’t exactly words of wisdom this time.

Pascal: Ever been stung by a sea anemone, maaan? They're like the hornets of the sea!As for my gold roses, I now have all that I need! However, the plots of some former villager houses still have a lot of dirt and I want to regrow the grass there before making my tour video. This might be my final town tour video, so I want it to look nice.
