As I started the game up tonight, I saw that cherry blossom petals were falling from the sky. Even though ACCF doesn’t have a Cherry Blossom Festival like the GameCube game, the pink petals certainly make the town look pretty.
Broccolo clued me in to the fact that Saharah was in town. He said he gave her a rug with juice and food stains on it, and she still gladly took it.
I quickly tracked down Saharah, and she told me she was looking for old wallpaper this time. So why would she take Broccolo’s rug? Could he be lying to me?
As I began asking around for wallpaper, I spotted a new house where Chrissy lived not too long ago. Inside, I found Twiggy the bird, who still hadn’t unpacked her belongings.
My wallpaper search wasn’t going well. It seemed like everyone was turning me down, including Angus.
Eventually, I ran into Broccolo again. He actually had some old wallpaper for me.
Fang was feeling under the weather, so I bought some medicine for him. Surprisingly, it didn’t spill out, despite him flipping upside down with his mouth wide open.
None of my other villagers had any wallpaper for me, so I put the one in storage with a previous one I already had. City Folk makes it so hard to get Saharah’s carpets and wallpapers; it’s so much easier in New Leaf and the GameCube game.
She asked me to make a delivery to Frobert. I found Frobert not too far away, so I handed him the item (a vertigo shirt) and I headed back to Bunnie. She rewarded me with a library wall.
In Lily’s house, my favorite frog was singing a town tune she last heard in her previous hometown of Tropical. She likes that it reminds her of her old life, in a pond.
Outside, I made the mistake of shaking a tree. A swarm of bees came at me, and I quickly grabbed my net. But I temporarily forgot that you can’t hold in the button (like you can on GameCube and New Leaf) and then release it when you’re ready to swing. So my swing was far too early and the bees got me.
On the bulletin board, a message was posted to remind everyone that tomorrow is Easter–known as Bunny Day in the world of Animal Crossing.
I don’t plan on playing ACCF tomorrow (although I will be participating in
Angus was telling me about how people will try to tell him to hold his tools. Uhh…
He said it’s not just about grip, it’s also about being close enough to strike. At this point, the awkward conversation was making me feel uncomfortable.
Resetti was inside, ranting about how people should talk about their problems. As opposed to yelling at someone for resetting, perhaps?
I caught him a rare mood where he actually wanted to keep talking. There were no resetting emergencies to cause him to leave, and he didn’t yell at me to get out. He started talking about his kid, and how he hasn’t seen him or her for a whole week. I didn’t even realize he had a kid!
As I continued talking to him, he gave me permission to finish the pizza he left! I was wondering about that pizza the
