Soon after starting the game up tonight, I spotted Saharah. She was looking for old wallpaper, and I remembered that I had three of them ready to go from last time. I gave them to her, and in return, she gave me a lunar horizon.

I do like the lunar horizon, but I already have one. It’s the lunar surface that I need. In fact, I’ve been waiting to get the lunar surface from Saharah for eight years now! I’ve still never got one from her in all this time. She’s driving me loony! 😉
I went around asking my villagers if they had any old wallpaper to give me. My favorite villager, Savannah, was the only one who did.
Benedict was sick with bird flu a cold, so I gave him some medicine that I already had in my pockets. This is him flapping flipping in the air; he is not part of that screen behind him, even if may look like it.
Random, useless trivia: Four of my ten current villagers have four-letter names: Coco, Opal, Chow, and Tank. Four others have eight-letter names: Broccolo, Savannah, Bluebear, and Benedict. The other two have six letters: Static and Twiggy. They all have an even number of letters in their names. How odd…
I was planning on making a snowman today. Well, until this happened.
While it’s true that I could have gone indoors and come back out to generate a replacement snowball, I wasn’t interested in searching for the new one. I was feeling a bit lazy. 😛
Some of my villagers were talking about New Year’s Eve being tomorrow.

I don’t plan on playing for the countdown tomorrow night, but I will be back on Sunday (New Year’s Day). I want to be sure to pick up my New Year’s shirt, as I do every year. So I hope to see you then, and I hope you all have a happy and safe new year!
When I went over by Tank’s house, I had a flashback to the days when Nintendo still supported online play for ACCF. Merry’s house used to be in this spot at one point. I would often bury a pitfall seed right behind the tree in front, and then I’d ask my visitors to meet me at Merry’s house. My regular visitors soon caught on, but many newcomers fell for it. Good memory.
Over by the river, I listened in on a conversation between Chow and Broccolo. Chow was saying that he used to be a kendo star, and that he had a great body that drove the girls crazy. Broccolo found that hard to believe, and asked why the last girl Chow had over looked mad when she got on the bus back home. Chow wasn’t happy that Broccolo was seemingly spying on him.
And yet, Chow was the one spying when I had a conversation with Opal. Opal said she was thinking about moving away, but I told her to stick around.
I wanted to change my path back to blue ice bricks, but Able Sisters was closed. So I started up the game again tonight and changed them back.

When I returned to Opal, she rewarded me with some blue flooring.
My kiwi shirt was looking quite out of season, so I headed over to Able Sisters to see if I could find a more appropriate shirt. Unfortunately, I didn’t see any shirts I liked…but I did see this motocross helmet for sale. It was blue and shiny, and I couldn’t resist it.
Of course that clashed with what I was already wearing, making my kiwi shirt look even worse. So I changed into my UFO pattern shirt for now; at least it’s blue and black like the helmet.
I made an animated GIF showing some of the Christmas lights in motion.
I saw a large shadow in the river, so I fished it out and caught a stringfish! That’s always a nice surprise (and sells for a nice chunk of change).
I’ll see you all next time. Happy holidays!
