On Thursday, I knew for sure that Felicity wasn’t moving out. That’s because Punchy was moving out instead! And it was too late to stop him! 🙁

Oof. That made me wish I had just let Felicity move out. Any time you save one villager, there’s always a risk a better villager could go next instead. Well, I’m sure we’ll meet again, Punchy. Until next time.

Over by Able Sisters, I had a little chat with Rosie. Apparently, she just learned that there’s a third Able Sister.

But she didn’t know who the third sister was, or that she works at GracieGrace in the city. Rosie wondered if the other sister was abducted by UFOs or joined the circus. 😛 I went into Able Sisters and talked with Mabel, and she threw some shade at Gracie.

I rode the bus out to the city, and I spotted two of my all-time favorite villagers there: Bob and Goldie! 🥰

Yesterday, Big Top wanted to borrow Rosie’s DVD of Dr. Shrunk’s Laffs and Gaffes, Volume 7. But Rosie said she was short on money, so she was going to charge him 3,500 bells per week as a rental fee. Big Top wasn’t happy, and he said he could just buy it for that much.

Today, I received Punchy’s goodbye letter in the mail.

Monty asked me for a new greeting, and those are never as fun as the catchphrases. But I told him to make some monkey sounds, “ooh ooh ahh ahh,” to be specific. 🐵

Down at the Roost tonight, K.K. Slider performed “K.K. Salsa” for me. It’s not a bad song, but it’s the same one he sang for me three weeks ago.

For a while now, I’ve noticed that Big Top had the ringside seating in his house. So I ordered him a judge’s bell to go with it, and then I mailed it to him. On Wednesday, I finally got to see it in his house. But when I rang the bell, nothing happened!

In some of the games (GameCube and New Horizons, at least), ringing the judge’s bell would make the crowd (on the wallpaper) cheer and you’d also see the flash of their cameras as they took photos. But for some reason, that detail isn’t in City Folk. That’s disappointing.

Nana asked me for a new catchphrase, and I wanted to tell her to say “for an ugly” like I also used for Bob in New Horizons. But that wouldn’t quite fit in City Folk, so I had her say “for a ugly” instead.

I ran into Pete delivering mail, and he laughed about how Phyllis actually said goodnight to him after work. Um, congrats? 😛

I played again tonight, and Big Top asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek. He gave me 15 minutes to find him, Felicity, and Punchy. That was plenty of time, so I didn’t feel rushed. I went around and did my usual routine.

Robin told me that she locked herself out of her house, and she was losing hope that she’d find it. But as she was speaking, I spotted something else that I just found… Big Top. He was peeking out from behind Robin’s house!

And as I spoke to him, I could also see Felicity from there, in the background! Look closely in the upper-right corner of this screenshot:

It was pretty cool how each one led into the next. It’s like the game was giving me hints to each one! But Punchy wasn’t in that same area, so the oddity stopped there. But a few minutes later, I found him near the museum.

Big Top rewarded me with a plinkoid for winning the game.

After that, I returned to the museum for K.K. Slider’s Saturday night show. I asked him for a random song, and he performed “K.K. Etude” for me.

I never went fishing for Robin’s key, but she’ll live. 😛

Update: Felicity never mentioned moving again this week, so maybe she’s safe. Either that, or she’ll be gone the next time I play. No clue. 😆

Yesterday, I found no sign of Pete as his normal time…so I felt pretty confident that it would be a UFO day! And sure enough, at 6:07 p.m., Gulliver’s UFO flew overhead! I was ready and waiting for it, and I shot that sucker down! 😆

I later found Gulliver’s spaceship part near the western edge of town. It actually landed right next to my UFO pattern marker! 🛸

Big Top was thinking about moving out of town, but I couldn’t allow that! I made sure I changed his mind pronto.

Monty was sick with a cold, so I gave him a dose of medicine.

I played again today, knowing Gulliver would be in town. Marina not only saw him before I did, but she actually kicked him! OMG, Marina!

Coming from an octopus, it was probably more like a sucker punch than a kick. But I went down to the beach to find the sleeping seagull/astronaut.

I gave him his spaceship part, and he gave me a Moai statue in return. This was my 35th UFO reward, and I think I’m getting a big head about it. 🗿😆

Over at Nook ‘n’ Go, Tom Nook had a range, a TV with a VCR, and a storage case…all in shades of gray. It must be Gray Day!

I visited Rosie and I got to see the inside of her house. She was talking about Happy Room Academy evaluations, and how she keeps her house neat and tidy. Except that her house, looked anything but neat and tidy!

A bathtub, a snowboard, a sandbag, and a gas pump? I’m sorry, but “neat and tidy” is not the first thing that comes to mind when I see that random collection of items scattered in your house. 😛

Felicity was the latest villager to tell me she’s thinking of moving out! I asked her to stick around longer, but she said she’s still going to move anyway.

If I get another chance to change her mind, I’ll give it a try. But I may not play again until next week, so I may not have a chance. I’ll see what happens next week, though.
