Biskit Begins

It was raining in town today when I started up the game, and I found Mint seemingly waiting on me outside my house. She said that some people think walking in the rain shows that you’re sensitive, but it really just means you’re getting wet. 😛

Mint: They're wrong! I'm just getting wet!

I found a new house in the southwest part of town, so that meant that Punchy’s replacement has moved in! I went inside and found Biskit the dog!!

Biskit: Whew... Unpacking sure is hard work! I think I'm actually breaking a sweat for the first time in years...

I like Biskit a lot, and I’m very happy to have him in town! Even if his blank white eyes look a bit creepy sometimes. 😛

Felicity asked me to make a delivery to Marina, and the gift was a military uniform.

Marina: Oh, is that what I think it is? A military uniform? Well, it's a sweet gesture. I guess I should accept!

It seemed like an odd gift, and I briefly wondered if Marina was going to join the army. But as I was walking away a few seconds later, it hit me: Not the army… the Marines! 😆 When I returned to Felicity, she rewarded me with an old board floor.

I returned to the game a few hours later for K.K. Slider’s show. I asked him for a random song, and he performed “K.K. House” for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. House.

June is here, which means that sharks are out now. I haven’t caught any of them yet this year, but I did catch something just as good tonight: A coelacanth! It’s worth 15k, just like a shark. (And several thousands bells more than a hammerhead shark.)
