Last Sunday, Tortimer was standing outside of town hall for the fireworks festival. Even before it started, he was out there to talk about fireworks and the upcoming show.

Of course, he also hands out sparklers and Roman candles.
Remember how last week, Rosie changed her mind about moving? She was bluffing! Because on Sunday, she still wasn’t sure if she would move or not!

I remember encountering this before; it seems to be something that peppy villagers will sometimes do (though I can’t remember specifically who did it before). But the good news is that in this case, I caught it in time and I was (again) able to change her mind about moving.
Once the fireworks festival began, I watched the sky at a few spots around town to enjoy the show. 🎆

I went out to the city to see if the fireworks were visible there…and they’re not. But I did something that I’m not sure I knew was possible: I set off sparklers and Roman candles in the city. Pretty cool! 🌆

The fireworks festivals will soon be winding down. Rosie lamented that the end of summer means that there will be no more summer love. 💔

At midnight, the fireworks ended. Tortimer even pointed out that there are five festivals in 2025, meaning there are two more to go (including tomorrow).

I played again tonight, and Rosie was now sick with a cold. Of course, I gave her some medicine. Get well soon, Rosie! (Even if you did lie to me.) 😛

I know that Rosie is now safe from moving (for real this time) because Biskit is now planning on moving instead. Despite my pleas, he hasn’t changed his mind yet. But I should be able to do that tomorrow.
Over at the Roost, K.K. Slider was in town for his usual Saturday night show. I asked him for a random song, and he performed “K.K. Fusion” for me.

I hunted for bugs (and fish) again tonight, and I made about 240,000 bells. I’ve already topped my (2nd) goal for summer, and I’m not making any more goals this year. But my first blog entry of September will detail how many bells I earned this summer. 💰
