I received Fang’s goodbye letter in the mail today. So long, friend.

Today is Thanksgiving in the U.S. (aka Turkey Day), and the game celebrates the occasion with the Harvest Festival. I met up with Tortimer outside of town hall, where there were banquet tables set up with dishes, fruit, drinks, and silverware. Mr. Mayor was looking forward to gorging himself silly.

Deena was also excited about the festival. This was before it officially started, though.

I cleaned out my upstairs room, moving out my Jingle furniture. In its place, I put my harvest furniture set from last year (except for the dresser, which I still needed). Those items have been on the ground in front of Nook ‘n’ Go for a full year now, so it’s good to finally have it cleaned up. 😆
As for the Jingle set, I left it out for my other character, Scott. His storage was full, so I just plopped it all down in his house.

At 3:00 p.m., the event officially started, and I got my first set of silverware from Tortimer.

So I began my search for Franklin. It didn’t take long, because his first hiding spot of the day was not only close to town hall, but it was right behind a sign post. He’s so much easier to spot when he hides behind these. 😆

Of course, I also chatted with my villagers too. Big Top knew about the fork and knife, but he wondered what to do with the spoon. He had an unusual idea, though…

I continued to find Franklin repeatedly, scoring more harvest furniture left and right. But a couple of times, I resorted to asking for hints when I had trouble tracking down the turkey.

After collecting about 10 items from Franklin (still without getting the dresser I needed), I took a break for a bit. When I returned, it was already dark out. But it only took me a few more tries before I finally got the dresser.

In all, I got 14 items from Franklin: Ten pieces of furniture and four wallpapers! I kept the dresser and sold everything else for 34,797 bells.
And of course, I put the dresser in my upstairs room to complete the set.

I’ve also added this screenshot to my new ACCF Harvest Festival Guide.
I hope you all had a successful Harvest Festival/Turkey Day! And Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate! 🦃 Thank you all for checking out these blogs and watching my videos, I appreciate it! 😊
