I received a letter in the mail from the snowman I built last week. He sent me a snowman clock, which is worth 8,888 bells. But I like how his letters are about the specific item that he sends; they’re not generic “here’s your reward” letters.
I’ve mentioned before how the Christmas Eve event (later known as Toy Day) didn’t have a proper name in the older games. It’s kind of funny to see how the game dances around that fact. The bulletin board just calls it “an event” that’s coming up on December 24th. 😛
Camofrog also talked about the upcoming holiday, but he was extra careful not to mention Santa by name.
It’s funny that by the time of New Leaf’s release, they had no problem mentioning Santa Claus by name. 🤷
Big Top asked me for some nice, clean clothes today, so I went next door to Able Sisters. I bought a red bar shirt, and then returned to Big Top. But he not only refused the shirt, but he said he’d be embarrassed to be seen in it!
Ouch. No shirt for you then, Big Baby. 😛
In another house nearby, I found Monty the monkey all packed up and ready to move out! I was a bit surprised, but I’m okay with him leaving. Good luck to you, Monty!
Mint asked me to deliver a gift to Rosie, and that present was a gelato shirt. Rosie seemed to like it.
Mint then rewarded me with a sink…which was good because I was drained from running around. 😉
After I sold the sink, today’s fossils, and some fruit, my savings balance hit a milestone: 75 million bells! I’m now 3/4ths of the way to earning that first feather!
After turning the game off for a few hours, I returned tonight for K.K. Slider’s show. He performed “Surfin’ K.K.” for me, which surprised me. That’s because it’s the same song he played last week!
