On Monday, I received Monty’s goodbye letter in the mail. So long, monkey.

When I made my up to the fountain, I saw Antonio and Deena standing there. I think I interrupted something! Were they on a date? 😆

As you probably know, some cedar trees are decorated with festive lights this time of year. But as I was walk around, I found a spot near Monty’s former plot, where I could see seven decorated trees at once! Granted, some were far in the background, but it’s still pretty unusual to see that many on-screen at one time!

Wednesday was Toy Day (Christmas Eve), and I tracked down Jingle in town.

Rosie said she was going to leave her wish list under her pillow…and then she realized that strategy is for the Tooth Fairy, not Jingle/Santa.

Meanwhile, Felicity said that she asked for a muffin for Toy Day!

As I hunted for Jingle, I kept changing my headgear to get more gifts from him. So I happened to be wearing a Toad hat when I caught this stringfish. 😛

Unfortunately, I couldn’t play as long as I would’ve liked. So I only found Jingle six times, and I sold my six Jingle items for 73,440 bells.
Today, Scoot told me that now that Toy Day is over, he’s looking forward to the new year’s countdown.

But the most interesting part is that he said the mayor has been putting him to work! He had to help take Toy Day decorations down, and lug around some fireworks! I wish I could help out like that! It would be cool to see some behind-the-scenes stuff like that!
I found a new house in the same spot that Monty just moved out of. Inside, I found Sydney the koala. I’ve had her in my GameCube town for a very long time. She’s nice, but not one of my favorites.

Saharah was in town tonight, looking for old carpets. However, Antonio was the only villager who had one to give me. And I didn’t have any others in storage, so I couldn’t do a proper trade-in this time.
The other day, I posted my latest City Folk Moments video. I hope you’ll check it out if you haven’t seen it yet!
See you next time!
