Pig Fight

Punchy was sick with a cold today, so I bought some medicine for him. Get well soon, Punchy!

Punchy: If germs are so much tinier than I am, why are they kicking my tail so hard?

Both of Forest’s ugly pigs were walking around west of the bus stop, and they started up a conversation with each other. Rasher told Lucy there was something icky on her face. 😛

Rasher: Lucy, there's something icky on your face, swine.

Lucy tried to get it off her face, and then Rasher admitted it was just her eye. Unfortunately, Lucy didn’t have any good comebacks…even though Rasher’s face is considerably worse.

Another ugly villager of mine, Violet, was having coffee in the Roost. She was upset that the whole day slipped away from her. Join the club.

Violet: Wow, is it already 10? I let the day just slip away from me!

In New Horizons, I recently checked out the tarantula and scorpion in the museum. In that game, they are kept in separate displays. I was disappointed, because they were allowed to actually fight each other in some of the older games (including City Folk). So I made sure to visit them in the ACCF museum tonight.

So that Rasher/Lucy argument wasn’t the only fight in town tonight. 😛

Have a good night, and I’ll see you all next time.

Another Ugly Pig

I caught a flea that was hopping around on Goldie tonight, and she couldn’t believe it!

Goldie: No way!
Sorry, Goldie. Good dogs get fleas too.

With Monty moving out recently, I thought Forest was taking a step in the right direction. Some of the uglies were starting to leave, and things were looking up…or so I thought. But that hasn’t turned out to be the case at all. I saw a new house today, and this thing just moved in!

Rasher the ugly pig glares at me.

It’s Rasher the pig, and he’s worse than Monty! He’s also much uglier than my other pig, Lucy. Yikes.

Rasher: Huh?! Who are you?
I’m your worst nightmare.
But to be fair, you’re also my worst nightmare.

Static asked me to find a mantis…that he apparently already ate. 😉

Static: So, wanna join me on my quest to find the elusive mantis, I ate it?

It was already too late in the day to catch a mantis though, so I told him I couldn’t help him.

Pascal was in town, standing on a bridge. So I looked around on the beach until I found a scallop to give him. But when I took it back to him, I accidentally pressed the wrong button and told him to get lost! So he jumped in the river without sharing his words of wisdom with me. Oops.

Anyway, Punchy was sick with a cold. I bought some medicine for him and he knocked it down.

Punchy takes his medicine.
Get well soon, Punchy!

Garden Wall

I received Monty’s goodbye letter in the mail today. He told me to keep my ears clean. Funny coming from a monkey who has ears much larger than mine! 😉

Jeff, I've made up my mind to move out of Forest. This place is great, and I'm gonna be sad to leave it, but it's time to move on! Keep your ears clean, kid! -Monty

Saharah was in town tonight, and she was looking for old wallpaper.

Saharah: I came from far away. I wish to trade wallpaper. It is for wallpaper that I came to your town today.

So I began to ask my villagers if they had any old wallpaper to recycle. Well, I couldn’t ask Static about it, because he was in the Roost, enjoying some coffee.

Static: Hey, shorty, I didn't think I'd see you in the cafe at this time of night...

And most of the others weren’t very cooperative either.

Kitty: You have SOME nerve! My wallpaper's not old at all!
Please leave my town already.

In fact, Puck was the only one of my nine villagers to give me some old wallpaper. But I had some good news: I had two old wallpapers in storage! So I had the required three to give to Saharah.

I exchanged them for a garden wall, which is not nearly as garden-y as the name implies. It just looks like bamboo! I was expecting flowers or something! 💮🌺🌸 Or at least some vegetables. 😛 🍅🥕🍆
