No Bagworm? That Stings.

On Wednesday, Kitty asked me for a new catchphrase. I’m not a big fan of Kitty, and I’m tired of her never leaving town. So I made her say “I’m awful.”

Kitty: So...I'm awful.

Mitzi was still sick with a cold, so I bought some medicine for her again. Today, she sent me a letter saying she’s over her cold. She sent me a regal sofa to thank me.

Static told me that he imports all of his spaghetti. In fact, he bought four barrels of it!

Static: You may think I'm crazy, but four barrels of it was the smartest buy I ever made! I'm set for life!

I took the bus out to the city, and I chatted with Maelle the duck there. She was talking about the advantages of a shopping card, and she said she doesn’t like carrying lots of bells around because it makes her feel common!

Maelle: I don't like to carry lots of bells around. It makes me feel common!

Back in town, Goldie asked me to catch a bagworm for her. So I went around shaking trees, and I searched for a good 20 minutes! But as you might expect, I was finding lots of bees, and no bagworms. I even got stung four times! Static enjoyed laughing at my face.

Static: You trying to give the bees some exercise? Oh, that's rich! My gut hurts from laughing.

I had nothing to give Goldie. I hope she knows that I tried.

New Month, White Rabbit

October is here, and I received a letter in the mail from Jack. He told me to start saving up candy for Halloween.

Loyal subject, October 31st is on its way! Time to get ready for Halloween! Round up all the candy you can so you can give it to me on the big night!! -Jack (Czar of Halloween)
Oh, and the grass is officially ugly now.

While I certainly enjoy the fall/autumn season (at least the early fall), Sterling isn’t a big fan. In fact, he said he’d rank it dead last out of all the seasons!

Sterling: ...Fall, huh? I'd have to rank fall last out of all the seasons.

Mitzi was sick with a cold today, so I bought some medicine for the poor kitty cat.

Mitzi: I hate being alone when I'm sick... I want someone to care for me and bring me medicine... Mew.
She’s cute.

Outside, I spotted a balloon present flying overhead. I got my slingshot out and shot it down. There was a starman inside.

I am invincible!

In the spot where Antonio once lived (many years ago), I found a new house. Unfortunately, Tiffany the white rabbit was inside. I kinda don’t like her.

Tiffany: Oh! Well, hello there! I'm surprised that I have visitors already, bunbun!

Kapp’n drove me out to the city, and Phineas was there, handing out goodies. I asked for a balloon, and he gave me a cyan one. But he didn’t want to give me anything else. 😛

Phineas: You want another one? That seems a little greedy, don't you think?

At my house, I swapped out my ranch bed for a spooky bed. It is the season for Halloween stuff, after all!

Loveless Limberg

I received Whitney’s goodbye letter in the mail today. She used some seasonally-appropriate stationery to send the letter.

To Jeff, I've decided to move away from Forest. It's hard to say bye to good friends like you. So I won't. Because I'm SURE we'll meet again somewhere! -From: Whitney

I listened in on a conversation between Goldie and Limberg near town hall. Goldie asked Limberg what he wanted for his next birthday, and he said he wanted true love!

Limberg: Man, you're makin' me think... I hate thinking... I dunno, maybe...true love...or some junk?
He wants you, Goldie.

Goldie felt bad that Limberg was so lonely, and they both left the conversation depressed.

I guess the moral of the story is not to ask people what they want for their birthday. 😀

Meanwhile, Static was hiding inside behind a phone box asking me for a kimono. Not exactly the most normal conversation, but hey, it’s Static. I told him I’d keep an eye out for a kimono (but I didn’t find one tonight).

Static: Sooo, old dog... If you happen to see a kimono, would you get it for me?

Over by Able Sisters, Puck wanted my oak silk moth to remind him of me. I agreed to give it to him, but he ended up giving me 1,663 bells for it. Not bad!

Puck: Hey, could I have your oak silk moth to remind me of you?

I’ve also been playing in my other town of Mushroom lately, and I just put up a new video tonight. In episode 26 of Mario Plays ACCF, Mario donates to the town fund to build a new bridge. He also says goodbye to one of his good buddies that’s been in Mushroom since the beginning. And there’s this…
