Opal’s Key

Drift was planning on moving away one night recently, but I got him to change his mind. And then he got distracted by a bug. 😛

Drift: Since you're gonna go and cry about it, I won't move away, ooh, a fly!

Today, Midge was sick with a cold. So I gave her some medicine. Get well soon, Midge! Oh, and she said I was the best, in her nest. 😛

Midge: Oh, this is JUST what I needed... You're the best, in my nest...

Outside, Kabuki stopped me to ask for some regal furniture.

Kabuki: There you are, cupcake!
Where?

Opal locked herself out of her house and lost her key. Fortunately, it only took me two tries to fish it out of the river.

I caught a key! Whose key is this?

Opal said she would try to be a much better neighbor if I returned her key to her. So I handed it over, and I now expect cookies, cupcakes, and other baked goods from her every week. 😛

Opal: Ugh... If you were to give me my lost key right now... I'd try to be a MUCH better neighbor from now on!
Deal. Let’s start with chocolate chip.

If you haven’t seen last week’s video, here it is:

Part 3 will be posted to Youtube tomorrow. It will show a feature of ACCF that I have never used before this week, believe it or not. Also, Mario finally starts to look like himself, and one of my favorite dogs Butch moves into town. Check it out! 🙂

Making Tabby’s Enemy List

On Monday, Tabby told me she was cleaning out her place and asked if I’d be interested in some new furniture. I thought she was offering me free stuff, so I said yes. As it turns out, she was actually inviting me over to her house and I was forced to pick a meeting time! Ugh!

I had no intentions of meeting her, but I just said 8:41 p.m. to get out of the conversation. She warned me not to flake out on her, or I’d end up on her enemy list.

Tabby: Don't flake out, or I'll totally put you on my enemy list! Right under Midge!
After all that I’ve done, how am I not on your enemy list already?!

You have have noticed Pascal in that picture, and I went over to talk to him next. I gave him a scallop, and he gave me a keg in return. He also shared his views on miracles.

Pascal: Something's only a miracle if you want it to be, maaan.

Last night, I did some bug-hunting. It will probably be my last major bug-hunt of the year, and that’s a bit sad. But I had fun this summer, and I caught lots of bugs.

I caught a golden stag! The light, the blinding light!

I stopped shortly after hitting 80,000 bells on the night. That’s because that’s all I needed to reach 34 million bells in my savings account.

Your current balance is 34,000,000 bells.

Even though I didn’t state it in the blog, my goal was to earn (roughly) a million bells in July and another million in August. And I’ve met my goals. 🙂

Today, Maple told me she was thinking about moving away.

Maple: I just feel like I need a fresh start, buzz off!

I asked her to stay, and she initially refused. But when I found her again later, I got her to reconsider.

If you haven’t seen my video yet, here it is: Mario Plays ACCF. I started out a new town, met my starting villagers (and I got some good ones ;)), and began my new life. There are Mario voice clips and sound effects interspersed throughout the video that hopefully bring some humor. And my first pitfall seed worked out amazingly well. 😉

Keep an eye out for part 2 on Friday or Saturday.

Killing Off Bananas

The day after Tabby’s birthday party, she was feeling sick. Was she hungover? Or maybe someone poisoned her cake? Oh wait, I ate her cake, so it wasn’t that. 😛

Tabby: S-s-so cold... Gonna b-b-barf... or whatever...

Believe it or not, I actually bought some medicine for her. She’s had a rough birthday, after all. And I’m not mean to her alllll the time. Just most of it. 😛

On Wednesday night, I ran into Wisp near the beach. He asked me to return his lamp to him, so I kept an eye out for it. I later found it near the empty house.

Finding an empty lamp on the ground.

So I took it back to Wisp, and he told me to rub it in my attic. I did, and he gave me some furniture for my trouble.

Wisp: OK! Here you go! It's a men's toilet!

Today, Al asked me to make a delivery to Static. Static was confused, and wondered what on earth Al could be sending him.

Static: A gift? From Al? What on earth could this be? A jackhammer? A macaroni?

It was actually a cat top, and Static was not happy with it. But Al gave me some slate flooring for making the delivery.

Opal was thinking about moving out of town, but I talked her out of it. Or at least, I think I did.

Opal: Thanks for opening my eyes just in time, sparkles!

Pascal was in town, and he gave me a keg in exchange for a scallop.

Pascal: If the ocean is filled with salt, where do we get pepper from, maaan?

When I was done in Forest, I went over to my 2nd town of Bananas…to say goodbye.

Goodbye, Bananas.

I’m deleting the town of Bananas (3.0), so I wanted to see it one last time. I tried to tell Iggly, but he just wanted to talk about my bedhead. 😛

You’re probably wondering why I’m killing off Bananas.

Rover: All righty then. No going back. I'm going to wipe all of Bananas from existence...

The answer is that I’ll be making a new town soon, and I plan on making a new video series to go with it. I don’t plan on blogging about the new town, other than occasional, brief updates. It’s going to be a video series, first and foremost. And there will be a small twist to it that I’m not revealing just yet.

If you want to see the new series when it starts (within a week), please subscribe to my Youtube channel if you’re not already.
