Baa Baa Black Sheep

Del hasn’t been gone that long, but his replacement is already here. Today I went to meet her. Say hello to Eunice, the black sheep.

Eunice: Oh, hello there! Let me introduce myself, lambchop. My name's Eunice!Even though the weather was dry in Forest, it was raining in the city. I took a look at Crazy Redd’s items for the week, but he didn’t have anything good.

Back in Forest, Melba asked me to make a delivery to Avery for her.

Melba: Well then, would you please deliver this present to Avery?Avery’s house was pretty close nearby, so it was no trouble at all. Maybe if I had noticed the package ticking, I would have returned it to the sender. But it was just an alarm clock. 😉

Avery: An alarm clock? That takes me back. Melba's got a memory like an elephant! As soon as I left Avery’s house, Melba was right there. She thanked me by giving me a cube clock.

Melba: It's a cube clock. Please accept it as a token of my appreciation! Why is she giving clocks to everyone? Maybe she just has time to spare.

Toodeloo

I started up the game today and got a surprising letter in the mail. It was a goodbye letter…from Del.

Jeff, Well, I'm finally moving out of Forest tomorrow. If it makes you feel any better, you're the only reason I stayed as long as I did. Thanks, pal. -DelHe had tried to move out numerous times in the past, but I always talked him into staying. This time, he didn’t bother to ask me. He just bolted in the night, leaving a big empty space next door to my house.

The empty spot where Del's house once stood. That spot has rarely been empty. Not long after getting the game, Cyrano moved into that spot and stayed there for a while. When he moved out, Del moved into that spot maybe a week later. Del had been there since 2010.

It was raining in Forest today, but it didn’t dampen Jeremiah’s spirits.

Jeremiah: Hi there, Chill J! It looks like nature is telling us we should take a shower today, on my pad! Most everyone else seemed to be in a bad mood, though. Felicity canceled a trip to the city because she was afraid she would fall into a puddle.

Felicity: I was gonna visit the city, but I'm afraid I'll slip in a puddle or whatever.

Hide and Seek Time!

It wasn’t raining in Forest when I started up the game tonight, but it was raining in the city. So that still saved me from having to water my flowers. I still made my walk around town, and I found two new black roses.

When I ran into Bob, he asked me to play a game of hide and seek. Sure, why not? Agent S and Robin were the other two hiders; I had a full 15 minutes to find them all.

Bob: If you find all 3 of us in 15 minutes or less, you win! If you don't find everyone, we win!I found Agent S really quickly, just a bit south of town hall.

Agent S: OK, so, like, here's what you should understand... There are still two people hiding out there, in my tux!But after that, I wasn’t having any luck at all. I made a full circle around town and still hadn’t found two of the three! My next trip around town yielded better results, but time was running out. I only had about three minutes left when I found Robin. And with two and a half minutes to go, I finally found Bob.

Bob leans out from behind a tree...a tree that appears invisible from this angle. That was tougher than it should have been (considering I had 15 minutes), but at least I found them all eventually. Bob rewarded me with a nebuloid.

Bob: ...Oh, that's right, the winner deserves a prize, right? OK... Here's your prize: a nebuloid!
