Break Me Off a Piece

My tiny snowman from Tuesday is now even tinier. Aww, he’s mad at me. Isn’t that cute?

Snowman: Do you get some weird enjoyment out of seeing snowmen who can't show their faces in public?I made my way around town to water my flowers. I spotted Wendell, the hungry walrus. He wanted food, so I gave him the chocolate heart I got for Valentine’s Day. Sorry, Anabelle.

Wendell: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH! Th-thank you! Good food!He then returned the favor by giving me some chocolate as well. A chocolate pattern, that is.

Wendell's chocolate pattern on the ground.Give me a break, give me a break. Break me off a piece of that… applesauce? Chrysler car? Football cream?

I decided to swap it out with my blue brick path to see how it looked.

Wendell's chocolate design as my paths near my fountain. It’s candylicious. Not really, but it’s alright. I’m going to leave it up for now, but not in the long term. If I have any visitors tomorrow night that don’t read this blog, they will surely be surprised.

Return of the Camel

It was snowing in the city today, so I got a break from watering flowers. I spotted Saharah in town, looking for old carpets.

Saharah: Your old carpets, you will bring them to me, yes? And for them, I will give you exotic carpets I have made! When I saw two snowballs lying close together, I pushed them together haphazardly.

Snowman: Wha-- Wha-what in the name of Old Man Winter did you do to my body?!Then, I went in Peggy’s house and I was shocked at how crowded it was in there. Plus, I don’t think her bones fit together.

Peggy's crowded house filled with fossils and other furniture. There isn't much room to walk.Of all my animals, only Amelia had old carpeting to give me. But that’s okay, because I had two in storage. So I took them to Saharah and she gave me an ancient tile.

Saharah: Here...some ancient tile. Very exotic... Treasure it. It is a very rare thing.Unfortunately, that’s not one that I needed.

Go With the Flow

For a long time, I’ve wanted a water pattern. Whether it was to make a pool, or a fake river, or a watery prison for bad visitors…who knows. Well I decided to look for one on ACC. I found one by Kimbo2009 and it looked pretty good. Granted, the color palettes in ACC are for Wild World, not City Folk, but I tried to use similar colors.

A water design. But when I placed them on the ground, they didn’t quite flow together as well as I hoped (pun intended).

Nine water patterns in a square on the ground. They were clearly nine repeating patterns and did not appear as one continuous body of water.Someone on my roster used to have a real good one. I think it was either Abbey or Robin, but I haven’t played with either of them in a year and a half, I think. If anyone can recommend a good water pattern, please let me know.

After I was done in Forest, I checked in on my Bananas town. I saw a new monkey in town; it was Simon the Great. I would normally call him by his shortened name, but he didn’t say Simon Says.

Simon: A huh huh huh! My name is Simon the Great, but you can just call me Simon for short.
