Snowman with Low Self-Esteem

I didn’t write a blog entry yesterday, but I do want to share a picture I took last night. You know how Booker runs the lost-and-found at the gate? Ever wonder how the items get there? Last night, Egbert provided me with the answer. The animals supposedly take the items they find to Booker.

I guess that makes sense, even though I think the animals would really just keep the items (or leave them there). But at least they tried to explain it.

Egbert: I always take any lost things I find to the gatekeepers, no yolk.As for today, there were no snow flurries either in town or in the city. When I made my walk around town, I found one new black rose. I decided to try making my first snowman of the season.

Snowman: I LIVE!But he wasn’t happy about his appearance. I think I made the head a bit too small.

Snowman: Oh, well. At least you can tell I'm a unique, handmade snowman. Not one of those mass-produced ones!I dug up a gyroid today, and it happened to be another mini-tootoid! So I put it in my house, and I now have three of them! They’re good to have around, because they make a convenient excuse. “It wasn’t me, it was the gyroid!”

Northern Lights

Just for the heck of it, I decided to buy an axe and throw it into the fountain. Serena ended up returning it to me.

Serena appears out of the fountain in Animal Crossing: City Folk (ACCF).Tonight was the night for the northern lights (aurora borealis). This was the first of the season for Forest.

The northern lights up in the sky, as a balloon present floats by.Lately I’ve been looking for tootoids (the farting gyroids) for my house. It occurred  to me that I haven’t checked my gyroid storage lately. I knew I had stored a few gyroids with Brewster a while back, but I didn’t know which ones. So I went into The Roost to see what I had.

Gimme my gyroid!I had about seven or eight gyroids stored with him, and one of them was a mini-tootoid. So I took it back.

Take the mini tootoid with you?

A Visit From Wisp

There was no snow in Forest today, but it was snowing in the city. When I returned to town, I shot down a balloon present. It contained a ranch tea table.

Shooting down a balloon present.Del seemed to be looking forward to Christmas. He was talking about the elf that rides in a sleigh.

Del: The calendar says we'll have a visitor pretty soon. You know who I'm talking about, right? No?I went in Bob’s house, and he mentioned someone that has not been on my friend roster for two a half years. That struck me as odd.

Bob: And at the top of that list is how to become as big a bell-pincher as she is, you elf!I went around checking for new black roses, but didn’t find any. But I did find something else, an empty lamp…

Finding an empty lamp on the ground.I also ran into Avery, and he asked me for a new catchphrase. I’m trying to go with holiday-themed catchphrases, and other animals are already using “you elf” and “jinglebell.” So I had Avery say “ho ho ho.”

Avery: Ho ho ho... Ho ho ho...Later in the evening, I came back to look for Wisp. He was near the southwest corner of town.

Wisp: But if you help me find my missing lamp, I'll give you something really nice.Wisp told me to go into my attic and rub the lamp, so I did. He then popped back out of the lamp.

Wisp appears in my attic. He asked me what reward I wanted. I chose furniture and he gave me an executive toy. I needed it for my catalog, so it’s nice to check one more thing off my checklist.

An executive toy on display in my creepy themed upstairs room.
